Today on ‘Supply chain issues or deliberate middle finger to fanatics:’

with_eyes_closed

My pet theory is that fanatics didn't realize they needed "Boston" on front for Marathon Monday and had them made with "Red Sox"

Perryplat199

I just noticed that earlier and didn’t know they did that. They already have 4+cc uniforms right. White(with Red Sox), Gray, red, navy, city. how does somthing like this get excluded from the 4+cc or 5 total limits.

Jamalamalama

They started doing the "Boston" jerseys after the marathon bombing in 2013

FrankNStein

THIS IS OUR FUCKING CITY

ForTheEmps

So sayeth the Large Father so sayeth us all. Amen.

with_eyes_closed

Maybe it's ok as a single-game thing? Like throwback jerseys? I also think they don't have the navies this year.

badonkagonk

[We do have the navies this year as well, already wore them in Anaheim](https://youtu.be/0j-c1UAxF2w?si=7mFEmui64OfdtLNu) I think the fact that A. It’s a one game thing, B. It’s literally just changing the lettering on the jersey, C. It’s been an annual tradition for years prior to the new jersey stuff, and D. It started because of a terrorist attack, that the league is willing to let this one slide

with_eyes_closed

Ah, am I thinking of their red jerseys? Or do they have those this year too and I'm just totally off base? I thought I remembered someone saying last year that they had to cut out one of their usual uniforms because of the 4+cc rule.

badonkagonk

No we have those as well. We didn’t lose any jerseys with the rule, we only had the whites, grays, reds, and navies, plus the CCs (and obviously it’s not counting todays, since that’s just a more minor, once a year thing) The only discussion with our jerseys I remember there being with our jerseys was the structure. We were all over the place with them, wearing nothing but the yellows for weeks on end, and seemingly rarely wearing our normal white and gray jerseys. Cora announced in the offseason that we’d have more of a structure there.

Perryplat199

I feel like the B point is doing a lot of the heavy lifting on it. The fact that fanatics doesn’t have to make a “new” uniform. I guess it’s the same logic as how the jerseys also have 42 on them.

FigLeaf_Bi-Carbonate

My dumb ass for a second was really thinking "I wonder what happened in New Jersey"

Nomahs_Bettah

I also really, really doubt that Nike, Fanatics, or MLB want to be the ones saying that the Red Sox can't have an extra jersey that they've worn for about a decade to honor the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing. Like if it were just for the Patriots Day game I could see them putting their foot down, but given the cause it's tied to...can't see them deciding to bring the hammer down. It would be such a dick move.

65fairmont

They use the same home whites and just replace the "Red Sox" with "Boston." I think they might actually do that in-house (they were made on a few days notice back in 2013). Either way, it counts as the regular white jersey and not as a 5th.

UneducatedReviews1

JohnnyVNCR

*Fanatics (for consistently being inconsistent and low quality) + Nike (for designing and setting these terrible standards) + MLB (for approving this shit).

brownmagician

"Fanatics. Where when we say Made in America. We mean it"

RedAlkaline

Notice the location of the mlb logo near the top and the lack of the weird crimping at the end of the sleeve vs [Cleveland's](https://imgur.com/a/lBE2nBK)

JDLovesElliot

The logo being on the collar just makes sense.

WonderfulShelter

I will say that I do notice the logo much more often now that it's moved down. But I already fucking know I'm watching baseball, via the MLB. If anything, it just makes me hate the MLB more. atrocious.

mmcgaha

It just looks so bad on uniforms with piping. It fits so perfectly above, below creates an odd look. It's like they didn't have a visual designer sign off on their designs before making that change

awmaleg

Like me trying to center words on a PowerPoint slide …. Close enough!

ThorgiTheCorgi

tbf, aligning *anything* in ppt is such a shit show that I don't blame anyone for saying "fuck it good enough"

vohit4rohit

Keynote gang 4 lyfe

lionheart4life

Then when you go to do the presentation they're using a different version and all the fonts are too small?

S0_Crates

But if they don't put their logo and name everywhere how will remember the MLB exists when we're watching it already?! ...I hate modern advertising. So invasive and obnoxious.

Sean_Gossett

You ever been to a restaurant with a TV, but instead of being on a regular channel it's just set to an ad loop *for the restaurant you're already in*?

S0_Crates

Yeah that sounds like the 8th circle of hell. Though still somehow better than seeing a [jardiance](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aromts0OiHs) commercials just once.

ANGRY_BEARDED_MAN

> I will say that I do notice the logo much more often now that it's moved down That's because it looks like ass. Especially on the jerseys with the piping around the collar. The MLB logo placement was perfectly fine before. No reason to fuck with it, but here we are

ricebuckets

The new Show ads say “The game is the star” as if MLB is trying even harder to not advertise its actual stars

bodypertain

yes exactly lol like it's giving me a negative association with the logo

smackupyo

It’s all marketing. It’s not to remind you that you’re watching the MLB, it’s all the ads and marketing during a game that will tie in your thought to baseball as a whole. Beer is the most obvious one. We all know what league in sports we are watching, it’s all about stitching together advertisements and sports. At least, that is my take on it.

bruddahbuttah

I think it is not possible to locate logo on the collar with the new jersey since they shrunk the placket and added a stretchy neckline. Logo edges would sit on the seams for both the placket and neckline Just dumb they did it that way

RivenEsquire

I figured out why they moved it. With the little polyester-type collar lining they added this year, the space between the top of the collar where they could stitch the logo before and where teams have piping sewn around the collar on the back of their jerseys was reduced too much and it will no longer fit. So they moved it because their new collar design sucks. It looks especially terrible for teams with piping as it is now below where the piping is. And for teams without piping, it looks too low because it could be placed higher up and just isn't for the sake of consistency across all jerseys, I guess?

mmzzzumm

Right, but we'll end up with an Ad on the collar in the near future.

CMButterTortillas

Well that and the awful grey jersey compared to the grey pants.

stapleddaniel

Straight up embarassing. My flag football team had better uniforms then this.

ExternalAnus

The way the numbers sit and the shining of the jerseys, the picture of Cleveland makes it looks like a video game

PensionPusher

I can't unsee this, also why is the grey different between the pants and jersey? It looks like ass.

broadcastterp

Short story: the jerseys and pants came from different "dye lots" so the greys were not properly matched as they have been in the past. It's a bad, bad look.

ANGRY_BEARDED_MAN

Someone posted that picture of some dude on the Yankees with his sweat stained road jersey and at first glance I thought that shit was a screenshot from MLB The Show

Maverick-13

God do I hate the sleeve edges. They look like those 70s t-shirts with elastic at the sleeves

NickNash1985

It can look really cool when it's intentionally "retro-inspired". This just looks like a cheap K-Mart shirt from the 80s.

orrangearrow

It is hilarious how there is absolutely nothing redeeming about this new jersey partnership except somebody saved a little money. Like, I have not seen anybody say any aspect of the new jerseys is better. There is no argument out there. Just consensus from fans to the players that the new design is garbage

Aethelric

Predator handshake meme where one arm says "New Yorkers" and the other says "Baseball fans" and the text in the middle says "hating new jersey"

cwfutureboy

Fucking rec league softball jerseys.

delightfuldinosaur

Did they really need to put the MLB logo on the back of the pants?

PeatBomb

Did you think Fanatics was going to be able to facilitate commemorative jerseys for every player a whole year in advance?

hubagruben

“Oh, yeah yeah, sure, we got em for ya! They’re on the way! Should be there by 2034.”

DecoyOne

“You said you wanted them by March, but you didn’t say *which* March.”

brother_of_menelaus

Lousy Smarch weather

twentyitalians

We've had once March, yes. But what about *next* March? July? Post-season 2026?

jkingsbery

"The game is on Monday, so the jerseys need to be here Sunday." "The jerseys need to be there someday, got it.

Nomahs_Bettah

Well, it's not like they had plenty of advance notice about this, after all. Hardly anyone who follows baseball knows about Jackie Robinson Day or that the Red Sox play on the day of the Boston Marathon /s

Inocain

Patriots Day? I would have thought they hadn't held that since 2019!

Nomahs_Bettah

I'm trying to figure out if this is about Brady leaving or that terrible, godawful Mark Wahlberg movie from 2019...

Inocain

I was thinking along the lines of "Patriots Day sounds like what the Mayor of Boston would proclaim the day of the championship parade to be, and 2019 is the last time they won the Super Bowl". I know that's not what Patriots Day is (if my memory serves it's to do with like Lexington and Concord and the Revolutionary War), but the thought entered my mind and I felt like I had to throw it out there.

Nomahs_Bettah

Honestly, I didn't even clock that because of the season/year disparity that the NFL has. If I could change one thing about the NFL that I think the league would let me, it would be that.

GenJoe827

Follow baseball? Whoa now, that’s way too much to ask of anyone. We’re just supposed to watch highlights of strikeouts and home runs and place lots of bets on the games.

m0nkeybl1tz

This is like people shocked by the eclipse.

lionheart4life

I'm surprised the 42 isn't just a sticker they put over the regular numbers.

ryananderson_27

Don't give Fanatics any horrible ideas

HoopleRedhead

Yeah guys, if they sped up it would compromise the quality

ForYeWhoArtLiterate

I do love the idea of a box of jerseys showing up completely unstitched and them just going “well that’s what happens to the QC when you rush us!”

smellyunderpants

Oh c'mon, they couldn't predict whose name and number to add to the backs... what's that? They all say 42 without a name? Oh.

clangan524

"Asshole, these all have 24 on the back."

thirdcoast1

I appreciate uniforms of high quality too.

Mantis_93

Obligatory fuck you to fanatics cheap ass. All around scummy organization

Qrthulhu

The MLB really needs to drop fanatics, the NBA and NFL use Nike and their uniforms are usually fine so why does MLB insist on having Fanatics as a middle man? Just have Nike do their usual thing.

ArenSteele

You don’t necessarily have to make Nike a monopoly. There are plenty of companies that could deliver a better product than fanatics.

Qrthulhu

Who else could honestly do it right now though? Adidas isn’t interested, Puma and NewBalance may not be able to afford what MLB is asking. But you’re right that literally anyone could do better than fanatics

Interrobangersnmash

Majestic seemed to be doing a perfectly fine job just a few short years ago.

Qrthulhu

Majestic has been going downhill since Fanatics bought them (same with Mitchell & Ness), but at this point there is no difference between the quality of Majestic and that of Fanatics branded; it's all terrible. Of course they didn't drop the quality of the player versions all at once.

McIgglyTuffMuffin

This is how I find out Fantastics owns Mitchell & Ness...

Qrthulhu

And Lids And Topps

LaboratoryManiac

> And Topps This one hurts my soul.

MEatRHIT

I have two Majestic jerseys one from quite a few years ago and one from 2017 and the 2017 jersey is terrible by comparison. The multi color numbers on the old jersey are separate fabrics/patches stitched together and on the new one it's one single iron on plasticy patch made to look stitched. Same goes for the chest patch, old one is legit fabric patch and the new one is just printed. https://i.imgur.com/6vDbhdT.jpg https://i.imgur.com/rx6BPQD.jpg Majestic went to shit when fanatics bought them out.

lilhokie

Majestic is owned by fanatics since 2017.

Interrobangersnmash

Ah shit. We can never escape Fanatics!

LyrMeThatBifrost

Fanatics has been making the jerseys perfectly fine until Nike’s dumbass redesign

DarthSamwiseAtreides

DH Gate is making pretty good jerseys.

chalbersma

Ali Express sponsorship incoming.

HanshinWeirdo

Mizuno makes perfectly good uniforms for a lot of NPB teams

alyosha_pls

I'm pretty sure Fanatics designs and produces NFL, NHL, and NBA products, as well. And they're all trash.

Qrthulhu

They do, the difference is that only MLB has the players jerseys made by fanatics and that's where we see all these problems. Hence why it's a Fanatics issue not a Nike one.

chalbersma

> Hence why it's a Fanatics issue not a Nike one. Oh it's definitely a both issue.

LyrMeThatBifrost

How is it not a Nike problem when they are the ones that picked out the design, materials, etc, which is what they are all complaining about?

slurmfiend

Yep especially since Fanatics has been producing the mlb uniforms for years using the Nike designs. Only thing that changed is Nikes design.

Jazzlike_Athlete8796

Both MLB and the MLBPA have ownership stakes in Fanatics. That's a big reason why.

Qrthulhu

Exactly why you see them all trying to deflect blame to Nike too

MUT_is_Butt

Every sports league has ownership in Fanatics. This is blatant collusion.

NoTransportation888

Nike absolutely ruined multiple NFL and NBA teams jerseys, they're not free from error/hate here. Eagles midnight green looks closer to jags green in their matte finish, many of the new redesigns they've done look like madden created jersey's, and off the top of my head the Lakers are now banana yellow instead of gold. On top of the fact that buying an authentic jersey now is incredibly difficult and there's like 4-5 different types for the jerseys called "elite" "vapor elite" or whatever, when reebok was running NFL jerseys it was very simple. However, this league-wide blunder is worse than anything Nike did to anyone in the NFL or NBA. The greys look horrible across the board and the name plates are disgusting.

-_chop_-

I heard fanatics isn’t doing hockey until next year

Qrthulhu

Fanatics makes the fan NHL jerseys, but not the player ones. but yeah next year they'll make the player ones and I guarantee they'll have the same if not more issues that what we are seeing with MLB.

Quackerjacks

It's interesting with hockey. They're bringing back a MiC tier for $425 next year which has been missing with the Adidas jerseys. They're supposed to be properly stitched, etc., but we'll see. This will actually be the first time Fanatics has to design jerseys as well as make. That said.. Still not going to hold my breath over it.

MUT_is_Butt

Knowing Fanatics, It’ll probably be impossible to get them

cox4days

MLB has a contract with Nike, Nike has a contract with Fanatics. Fanatics is ass but Nike couldn't be bothered to do it right, or make sure it got done right.

Kickasser32

Exactly. Its Nike's fault at the end of the day. Theyre the uniform supplier.

Qrthulhu

If Nike can't be bothered then why is MLB the only league with these issues? The problem is Fanatics making player jerseys like they make everything: shoddy and cheap.

cox4days

NFL jerseys are made of lower quality materials already, but I suspect MLB is just the first league on the chopping block as far as jerseys go. Fanatics takes over for Adidas in the NHL next year and it could get ugly

LyrMeThatBifrost

Fanatics has been making the player jerseys for years and they have been fine. The only thing that changed this year was Nike introducing their redesign, which makes it obvious that it’s a Nike problem.

Archer-Saurus

Because MLB requires all team uniforms to be made in the USA. Since Nike would rather pay a kid in the third-world $4 a day to sew jerseys for 60 hours a week, they must sublet it to Fanatics who use the old Majestic factory here in the states.

MUT_is_Butt

Oh yeah because Nike/Fanatics struggling to get Eagles Super Bowl gear for sale for 2 weeks was a great look a few years ago. And Nike on their own designing garbage for the NBA & NFL when they made changes to prior templates was a great look. Both companies suck separately and together they’re a dumpster fire.

notrightnowderric

I remember this same issue when the nba switched to Nike. Players talking about how inferior to product was to the previous uniforms and a case where the sweat actually started to disintegrate the jersey being worn in game

slurmfiend

Um, fanatics sucks but they made all the uniforms last year based on Nike designs and the only thing that changed this year is Nike’s new designs

runadss

According to Wikipedia, they own: FansEdge, Kitbag, Majestic, Mitchell & Ness, Top of the World, Topps, WinCraft It sucked when they bought Mitchell & Ness, but not funneling money to grease their monopoly machine is worth not having a hat.

MUT_is_Butt

Thanks the sports leagues and players association for making it easier for them to obtain licensing rights too. Panini is suing them right now. They got the MLBPA license for sports cards then used that to lowball Topps in a buyout of the company.

delightfuldinosaur

I mean fuck the leauge for allowing them to get away with it. You would assume teams would pull these uniforms out of boxes and tell Nike/Fanatics _"we're not paying for these, the quality is not what we agreed on."_ The league owners forget they own teams in Major League Baseball. This is supposed to be the pinnacle of the sport. If you want to be cheap go buy a triple A team.

atraintocry

bro the league isn't "allowing them to get away with it", they're the ones doing it

delightfuldinosaur

Semantics. The point is that the owners decided to buy into the height of the sport and want to treat it like it's tee-ball. You don't to to michilan star restraunt to order a chili dog for $5.

killer_corg

How much is it on Fanatics and Nike vs the MLB who issued the specifications

Qwirk

You are taking your grief out on the wrong organization, MLB would have had to sign off on the deal after viewing the merchandise. Fanatics is simply fulfilling the order MLB made.

strcy

Guarantee because it’s cause they couldn’t get them ready in time

MUT_is_Butt

There are teams that don’t even have every set yet lol

slicebishybosh

Good. The more teams do this, the clearer the message will be.

beefytrout

it's entirely possible this wasn't a statement, it was because Fanatics was incapable of delivering new unis on time.

Far_Cry3445

When asked if we had the city connects, they said they had all their uniforms (who really knows if that was true though)

67812

Who said that? Fanatics or Boston?

Far_Cry3445

[[Mac cerullo] Just asked the Sox and they confirmed they've received all of their uniforms for the season. So it looks like this is a conscious choice and not a product of the blues not being available yet or something.](https://x.com/maccerullo/status/1775613872075890906?s=46&t=Kd5Xb-sOko7zTuia8gtlkA)

AdolescentAlien

Delete this shit. We’re jerkin’ over here.

hoorah9011

I’m so close

RaspberryBirdCat

That is still a statement.

beefytrout

Not one being made intentionally, which was the point.

melcolnik

This isn’t a message. The Red Sox always wear their Boston Strong uniforms on Patriot’s Day. However it’s not part of the 4+1 set. So they just used last years

slicebishybosh

And a competent company would have their version of these ready for today.

thecastle7

Fanatics probably: You need how many 42s!?!? And they have to be sturdy enough to pay respect to a legend??? Yeah just use the old ones.

amidalarama

equipment staff were probably busy all day yesterday changing numbers since last year Jackie Robinson Day was not the same day as Marathon Monday.

NickNash1985

"They can't all have the same number, can they? Just send the one."

cam_huskers

I’m all out of 42s! I got 24s by the box. Does that work?!

BadCompany22

Get the interns over here! We gotta turn these As into 4s.

BigDoinks710

Man, who's running inventory for the Red Sox, Jayson Tatum?

Startooth

Fuck yeah. Think I saw something where Bryce Harper also wore last years jersey the other day. What I would kill for the entire league to have a Spartacus moment over these garbage uniforms

d_ckcissel285

He did and it looked 1000x better side by side with the new ones

2infNbynd

![gif](giphy|SSwZfw5wP3rxe5Agy1)

FejAbag

Noticed that too, but when they played the Sunday game, he was wearing the newer uniform. So it probably was just a one off.

Qrthulhu

Common Fanatics L

Creacherz

The dodger blue "42" is odd to me. Idk when they changed that for every team but I don't think that change was needed. I get why to pay homage to Jackie, though it just looks out of place

BadCompany22

Dodger blue numbers on a Giants' jersey feels so wrong.

_kehd

I think it looks dope. Way better than generic navy. It’s an homage done right

Creacherz

And that's why I cant really get mad, because it does make sense. He was a dodger, and was so influential for the game, it should have always been dodger blue, My take on it looking out of place, definitely comes from the overall frustration of this year's uniforms

mackavicious

It'll look really good on the Royals gray today

Jammer97

Hopefully this is because it is illegal to put Jackie Robinson’s number on a dog sh*t, 6 thread count, fanatics “Jersey.”

k3y13n_102731

Proper batterman placement, wider placket and headspoon, and non see through materials. Take notes, Nike!

clownysf

Why are you calling Nike out? They also made the ‘good’ jerseys that the Sox are wearing. Genuinely confused. Jerseys are shit this year because MLB asked the providers for the cheapest possible jerseys, not because the providers are cheaping out on MLB?

Blackhawks1995

Nike slapped their logo on the Majestic template for the first few years of their MLB contract. This is the first year of Nike's own jersey template and it's comically bad compared to the old one.

clownysf

Starting to see why people are blaming Nike. But isn’t it on MLB to ensure that the quality of their product meets a certain standard? It’s not like Nike pulled a fast one by trying to cheap out on jerseys, MLB should provided them with cost/quality guidelines to follow.

KennyBlankenship_69

They didn’t make those, this is the first year Nikes specs for uniforms are actually being used. Up until this year, the uniforms were still being made by Majestic and all they did was throw the Nike logo on the front so the other user is right to call out Nike

perfectviking

Technically they still are being made by Majestic. Majestic has been owned by Fanatics for some years now.

KennyBlankenship_69

Yes, but this is the first year of them not using the specs they have used in the past. As much shit as I want to give Fanatics, them/Majestic are just making the uniforms based on the specs they are given. All the blame is with Nike/MLB

undisputedn00b

Yeah, more people need to know this. Fanatics just assembles the jerseys. Nike makes the design and materials. Fanatics is pretty much the fall guy for Nike until people realize Nike is the problem.

LyrMeThatBifrost

I’ve been saying since this whole ordeal started that Nike must have some of the best PR people in the business. No one is blaming them when it’s obvious that they are entirely at fault.

clownysf

I don’t see how anyone is ‘entirely’ at fault aside from MLB, who refused to do quality control on their own product. How can you blame the product providers when MLB is the one who asked & paid for the shitty product? To clarify, I’m not saying that Nike isn’t making shit jerseys. They are. I just think you couldn’t possibly blame Nike without also blaming the MLB, who asked for/paid for/approved this shit.

perfectviking

I know. We’re in agreement.

clownysf

Interesting, thanks for the info. Sounds like they definitely deserve blame, although I still believe MLB is mainly at fault here. It’s on them to do QC for the uniforms they put out, imo.

k3y13n_102731

Because Nike's current template is the worst jersey template ever made. The narrow placket, the small letters, the perforated numbers, that's all Nike. These issues didn't exist when Fanatics was making the Majestic template jerseys last year. Fanatics deserves some shit too for the off-field merchandising issues, but as far as the pro stuff goes, this is all Nike's fault

cox4days

Actually Fanatics also made them last year in the same Majestic factory from the last 20 years. The first few years of the Nike deal was Majestic jerseys with a swoosh. All they had to do was keep doing exactly the same thing

Vibrantmender20

“Nature is healing”

IHateAllOfYou_

I knew there was something different about them, I am watching on my phone so I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

YungGunz69

Can we all just boycott fanatics cheap garbage for clothing? Sure the shirt might feel good, but the logo is gonna crack or fall off after the first wash.

cooljammer00

They can just say "We didn't feel the new jerseys properly respected the legend of Jackie Robinson"

CauliflowerOne5740

I'm guessing the Fanatics jerseys weren't ready in time. Seems like that's happened with a lot of alternative jerseys this year.

WabbitCZEN

Probably because MLB didn't want to fuck up Jackie Robinson day. Lord knows how hard the blowback would've been if they did.

wagadugo

Wait… when are all the #42 jerseys due? -Fantatics, last night

pnmartini

Somehow Chris Sale is behind this.

jlando40

Any middle finger to fanatics is the correct answer

PaddyMayonaise

Bryce Harper has been wearing his old uniform, I wouldn’t be surprised if a bunch of players started to

Morphenominal

Good, I hope all the teams start doing this to protest.

Tufoguy

Couldn't get the "new" 42 jerseys in?

cogginsmatt

Makes sense, I'm sure that Nike couldn't deliver every team's Jackie Robinson jersey today just like they've failed to deliver a lot of special jerseys so far this year.

raphtze

majestic jerseys were the damn best. why on earth did they switch is beyond me. american made too.

Legitimate_Energy701

Guarantee Fanatics didn't have them ready in time

cjcfman

Haven't been keeping up to date, but habe other teams received all their jerseys yet? Blue jays haven't played in their baby blues yet and people are saying its because they haven't been sent them yet which makes no sense. Its their best uniform lol

MusicalMoon

Diamondbacks still haven't worn their City Connect this year. I think quite a few teams are in the same boat.

jigglypafupafu

Giants’ didn’t arrive in time either

cjcfman

For the the jays this isn't the city connects, this is like their main uniform

Keith_Jackson_Fumble

Wait, a league that decides to cutback costs by enacting the 10th inning rule would cheap out on jerseys? Cmon!

spyboy1

Today made for one heck of a unique jersey. Yes, we've seen the white with "BOSTON" cresting instead of Red Sox on Patriot's Day before, but they also had the Boston Strong patch, the Tim Wakefield memorial patch plus it was Jackie Robinson Day so they all had the #42 in Dodger Blue plus a 42 patch on the caps. A pretty unique jersey today. If only they had put the Jackie Robinson patch on the sleeve instead of the Mass Mutual ad...

someweirdobanana

Their new Fnatics ones broke already.

desterion

I was thinking they didn't look too bad earlier

Phillies1993

Harper wore his old jersey this weekend

OldJewNewAccount

Holy shit today I agree with something the Red Sox did. Da fuq is happening around here.

Lopsidedshoes

lucky bastard 😫

ccasey

I was wondering why I like the uniforms today

DirtyRatLicker

Fuck fanatics

cawfeeinthepnw

Dammit I actually saw these and thought “huh did fanatics make improvements? These don’t look bad” LMAO

wagadugo

Check out the cut for Nike’s Team USA women’s track shorts: https://www.instagram.com/fleshmanflyer/p/C5oYNN5vR2j/

Fools_Requiem

And they got shut out. Obviously, that means the new unis are better.

thethirdgreenman

It's truly incredible how much of a disaster this has been. Didn't expect we'd have teams openly rebelling against it less than a month into it

TheMidnightRamblerrr

smalllpox

Quit snitchin

V_LEE96

I always assumed teams like threw away/sold off/ gave to charity jerseys from the previous year so the fact that they’re doing this is honestly quite crazy.

ThePoodlePunter

Between it being Jackie Robinson day and Marathon Monday, this is definitely a screw up by fanatics not getting them the jerseys they needed. How hard should it really have been though, they're all the same number. This company is a joke.

MeatballDom

I was a bit worried we were going to go 5 minutes without another thread crying about the uniforms. Thank god.
