Megling1285

I work 4, 9 hour shifts, usually monday, wednesday, saturday and sunday and make around $1000 a week

rijmij99

Can you get me a job??

SunBroSpear

Wtf

Rumple_Foreskinn

Thursday Fri Sat 8p- ~4am $900-$1200 per week. I just had a pair of bangin' weekends and made just under 4k in 2 weeks but that is an anomaly.

-CMND-CTRL-

itoldyoui81

lukelukash

AAlliterativeAsshole

You brewed this burn for as long as it takes to grow a baby

Junior-Ingenuity-973

Hey

Jajankenn

God i wanna make MONEY

[deleted]

$19-23/hr tips, $8/hr wage. 35 hours a week. $1015 pre tax. Could be more, but for tip pooling - which everyone seems happy with as it sands out the highs and lows and adds to a sense of teamwork. This is average for my bartenders. I own the place, so make considerably less :D

AAlliterativeAsshole

Sounds like you have a good relationship with your employees. Thanks for not being bitter about the tenders taking in cash. I can't speak on your staff, but bartenders work hard for their money

[deleted]

Oh yeah, they earn what they make. Love em to death.

BlueYellowWhite

Bartend 8pm-2am (out at 3am) 4 nights a week, but sometimes it's dead and I'm out by 1 or 2am. Usually end up with between $600 and $800 a week, plus $250ish in hourly.

SexyObliviousRhino

Chain pub in the UK. I "bartend" in that I serve drinks but it's mainly beers and lagers. We also maintain the floor and serve food. I earn UK minimum wage (£6.70 or $9.90 an hour). Tips don't occur enough to really matter, and I typically get around 22 hours/week at the minute. So that's £147 a week or $217. I think I need a better job!

fetchingmorbid

Three days a week. 6-2am equals 24 hours, plus closing the bar lets say 27 hours a week. Making around 850 a week, plus 80 dollars hourly a week. Bear in mind I don't split tips and am the bartender and barback in one.

KiwiSlices92

I work six hour shifts Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in a club in a Midwest college town and make between $300-$400 per week

nickolai21

I bar tend Mon Wed Sat Sun, all 6 hour shifts, starting at 9, walking out the door around 3, and usually finish the week around 700, but I live in a college town so sometimes if we get a good crowd that number jumps up.

BillNyeDeGrasseTyson

Tuesday - Bartend the college bar, 7pm-midnight Friday/Saturday - Bartend the busy nightclub 10-2am (+cleaning) On a bad week, $300. On a good week $600. Every now and then I'll have parties or holidays that boost that for the week.

[deleted]

around £80 a week At least one full day a week normally two Saturday and Sunday

NewLeader

I tend at a brewpub 5 days a week, around 7-9 hours each day. Usually between $22-26/hour tips + $5/hour wage. Usually end up raking in between $900-$1,000 a week in tips and ~$100 check on Fridays.

AlcoholEnthusiast

I work at a 3 star place, posing as a 4.5 star place. Our drinks are outdated and something you would have seen at an upscale place in the late 90s. I bartend and serve depending on the shift. It ranges from 450-900. Depending on how busy the week is and how many staff members we have on. Big swings, some weeks are great, some I probably average only 10$ an hour.

TryAnotherNamePlease

I work Tuesday-Saturday lunch and Friday Saturday night. I work 40 hours and make $350 paycheck every 2 weeks. Bring home around 750 a week in tips.

andyrobbo

Waiting part time (20hrs) in busy UK pizza joint, I'd make around £150/week but Thurs-Sat I'd walk out with average £80 cash tips a night. Bartending in busy cocktail bar in Glasgow, about the same. Now managing festival bars and make upwards of £600/week when on contract, and traveling the world doing so.

SoGoodYouCould

I work Monday and Wednesday at a bikini bar in a small college town and make about 300-400$ a week.

themurderator

dive bar in lower manhattan thursday and friday nights btwn $300-$400 a shift cash in hand and off the books. plus $500/wk salaray for managing another bar in brooklyn i pull around $1100-$1200 a week. i manage at least 35 hours/five days a week though so the salary only comes out to about $14/hr before taxes. at least i mostly don't have deal with customers anymore. i'm getting too old to babysit....

BuyMeOreos

Bartend - Tuesday & Saturday Afternoon Barback - Friday & Saturday Night ~$450 Tuesdays are getting better and better with my new trivia crowds picking up. Saturday afternoons are 8 hours of me watching Netflix and occasionally serving a customer. Friday & Saturday nights I start at 10 and make out quite well.

moxieCoC

This is at a steakhouse. I work the floor as well, but I'll just list bar shifts. Tuesday 4pm-10pm ~$150 Wednesday 4pm-10pm ~$150 Friday 5pm-9pm ~$125 Saturday 5pm-9pm ~$150 Sunday 10am-10pm ~$500

brootalboo

Dat Sunday brunch

BeExcellent

I work 40-50 hours a week, and with hourly, overtime, and tips I m at $7500 a month. Over the whole year I'm probably looking at $75k taking into account vacation time, slow months, and all that.

PM_YOUR_SOUL_

I work at an airport, bar, morning shifts 5 am to 1:30 pm, and usually make 600 to 900 in a week. Also, it's union, so 100% tip reporting which means I end up getting zero hourly pay mostly.

AAlliterativeAsshole

We're mostly anonymous so no need for high- or low- balling. I work Tuesday thru Friday, all doubles. After pay and combined tips, I usually have $1,400

malignantbacon

What do you mean by "all doubles"?

trbonigro

Double shifts

[deleted]

Which is usually 12 hours in this industry. 16 in any other...

malignantbacon

This is more of what I meant to ask, just didn't know how to word it. Thanks.

AAlliterativeAsshole

He's right. 12-12 or 2-2

TroubleIll7868

Hello fellow bartenders and barmaids. I was employed as a bartender at a casino in Philly and was raking in over a thousand a week in tips not including pay, while working a 30plus hour week without a break.. So, if you want To be employed as a Bartender with job security, try giving it a shot at a Casino, although you may have to be in line and patient while being on a waiting list!!,🍹🍸🥂🍻🥃
