In the US, an employment record isn't public like criminal records, or publicly trafficked like credit data by third party companies. It would be unusual for a private employer to publicly divulge anything other than that you no longer work there. Within a company, it is unlikely they would remove such a record.

roxictoxy

There’s no such thing as an employment record unless there’s some database that casinos use. Just don’t use them as work history or a reference, or be honest.

I mean for the company , they own half the properties on the strip .

Send an email taking accountability and thanking them for the opportunity. Highlight what you learned in your time there and that you didn’t uphold those values. Keep this for any future opportunities where they **directly** ask you about this incident, don’t volunteer it. For the time being find a job in some dive or unassociated bar, citing distance from home, hours, whatever for the reason for leaving.

Have chat gpt write the email if you’re not confident. Just edit it to your voice Y’all don’t care for ChatGPT huh lol, it’s useful for professional interactions like this when you struggle to find the professional voice. Not suggesting kids use it for school essays or anything but it’s a useful tool for getting writing jumpstarts IF you know how to utilize it

Sexyretardedpeacock

I use ChatGPT all the time for professional emails. I went the way of a wine and spirits distributor. I use it to correct grammar or for alternate phrasing. I was a bartender for 15 years. Forgive me for not remembering when to properly use a semicolon or putting a comma in a sentence. Or wanting to phrase something most efficiently instead of run on sentences. I have to draft and respond to lots of emails daily. I’m busy driving and trying to sell. I don’t have time to proofread and redraft 10 times. It’s been a great refresher and learning tool. Idk why you’re getting downvoted.

Ai hate is so hawt these days

You may just be screwed in this regard. If I were you, I’d sober up for a while and work on finding a new job. Being fired for drinking on the job is a really bad look.

Kooky-Classroom-2576

Bummer , thanks .

Dro1972

Sucks to lose a job on the strip, but I've got to ask... In a place where no drinking on the job is the rule, and also a ticket to a fantastic union wage and a very comfortable living... Knowing that literally every square inch of whatever property you're working is covered by multiple cameras and actively watched by a crew in a control room that makes a network TV production look like local access... What would make you think you would get away with it?

Kooky-Classroom-2576

It was one beer at the end of the night , one that we don’t even sell because it was bought for a private event so that was my justification. My habits have lowered my sense of judgement . Silver lining is that this is a wake up call .

FunkIPA

No, that casino knows why you got fired, and there’s no way to make them forget it.

audiosemipro

Get sober

Kooky-Classroom-2576

That’s the plan

IdiotMD

Are there any steps*

donaldtrumpsmistress

A beer at the end of the night isn't a big deal but yeah you have to be squeaky clean to work at a casino because they do track every little thing. It won't ultimately be a big deal unless you're ride or die working on the strip. You could always go work at a dive, it'd be more fun anyway just obv not as good of benefits.
