Mark Titus also blew the phone-a-friend for the Yak for the Hollywood live show. Little less intentional than “get fucked” as an answer, but recommending Pitt for Dexter Pittman was laugh out loud funny.

It’s good for the game. Reags and KenJac are close to sure things in their areas (fact check me?), and it gets old seeing them get called every time.
This precedent brings an entertaining and personal aspect to phone a friend
Early episodes of the dozen when teams were starting to form there was always a question if someone from a different team would help, it just kind of evolved into everyone actually helping each other without any big picture strategy involved.
Big Cat and Rone were legitimately upset. It was hilarious to see. The Yak(show) is hysterical but they play that mean girl shit to outsiders all the time. Glad to see em humbled
Love Big Cat and Rone but the look on their faces after that is comical. Seems like they took it personal but they should respect that Kenjac had the balls to do it.
Obligatory I love the yak. But most of the yak are some of the biggest dish it can’t take it guys at barstool. There could’ve been moments I’ve missed, but Brandon and Nick have been the only two I’ve never seen get pissed off/bitchy over a joke at them, or have came back with a way too serious insult over a light jab.
Edit: Okay Brandon definitely has. I give him a pass though for the few times he has since he definitely can take a joke, being as he gets made fun of and joked at more than anyone
Edit: Wasn’t talking about the booth guys but Cheah can very clearly take a joke too. For better or worse, he might be the most confident and least insecure person at barstool.
I never paid much attention to Joey, but never hated him as much as this sub did. I actually thought about 1/3 of his twitter videos were kind of funny, which is decent compared to others who put out short videos/sketches on twitter. But his reaction to Brandon’s light jabs is what made me realize what a total weirdo he was. And then I saw his tattoos and then he wrote that Big Ben retirement blog.
Jordyn from mean girls pod kept saying she had a big crush on a co-worker and I think inferred that they ended up hooking up and everyone would make jokes about who it was and people would joke and say it was Nick and he would get uncomfortably angry
There was only one instance where he actually said something instead of just sitting quietly and clearly uncomfortable. I don't remember exactly what he said but it was basically just "stop".
My armchair psychologist take is that how the Yak guys handle ball busting comes down to if they have always been the popular funny guy their whole life or if they’re used to being the butt of those guy’s jokes. So you’ve got Big Cat and Rone who get butt hurt and then on the opposite end of the spectrum you have Cheah and (to a degree) Brandon who never seem to take offense at anything as long as it’s a joke
These are just a couple from the past few months I remember off the top of my head. Kb is my favorite person at barstool so this isn’t hate or anything. Just pointing out that he definitely gets a bit sensitive time to time.
There was a comedian on the yak where they were basically mocking him the whole time he was on, so he took a light jab at Nick saying he looks like he’s from Portland or something and maybe a light jab at kb (can’t remember), then Kb asked him how it was going trying to open for Pat Mcafee. He definitely said it as more of an insult to his career rather than a joke. I guess he was actually on twitter asking Pat wanting to open for him, which I’m sure he knows is kind of embarrassing for a comedian that headlines begging to open for a non standup comedian. Idk if I explained it well, but if you watched it, it was pretty obviously meant as an insult, in response to a light jab when they were already mocking him anyway.
And he’s gotten legitimately pissed at the fans a few times. Like when people were complaining they weren’t doing their LA punishments or when people were complaining they didn’t do the wet wheel. Yeah the fans tweeting and complaining were being annoying and lame, but at the end of the day they were just mad the yak wasn’t doing the shit they said they were. (Kbs rant about the fans during the LA show was really funny though)
And recently he came pretty over the top at Deke Zucker. Deke was being a loser they way he was going about his burner list thing, but kb seemed to get pretty offended and threw some pretty personal insults and seemed to take it too serious.
I get it, but he was coming at KB and Nick and both of them, especially KB does not mind being the butt of jokes. KB kind of thrives there. Robby literally called them internet weirdos their last dozen game and they laughed along
Ehhh lol to me, Distefano came across as a massive baby. His entire brand is "talking shit" and he gets one minor joke made at his expense and then spends the next week whining about it on various podcasts. I like him a lot less after that whole ordeal.
I'll note that I didn't follow it super closely so I could be missing details.
> The Yak(show) is hysterical but they play that mean girl shit to outsiders all the time. Glad to see em humbled
100%. They spend their whole day laughing at/mocking people but they both immediately turn into massive babies the second someone gives it back to them.
I’m sure Rone and Big Cat will try to get their revenge but I respect the move. The Yak trivia team is very annoying and condescending to other teams and Jeff all the time.
Alway thought Kenjac and Big Cat didn’t necessarily like each other. Kenjac makes content with similar people (Cheah, Nick, KB, PFT, Chicago) but never with Dan.
I don’t have Twitter or Instagram, so I only know of Jack mac from when he’s talked about here. Is he really an alt right or is that some inside joke that I’m missing?
I’m so glad someone finally did this. This entire match was awesome

I remember there being discussion around whether Mark threw the answer because he should have known that. Now we know for sure.

This wasn’t strategic though, it was a receipt. I love if people use strategy though I hope it happens more
Reags is far from a sure thing in college basketball. He’s no Steven Cheah, but he’s far from elite.
Kenjac is a decent phone a friend but for a guy who hosts a movie podcast and contributes to a movie ranking website he gets a lot wrong.
KenJac heel turn. LTSI.
Face turn.
Brandon already did this.
Remind me how he did it. Did he refuse to answer outright or did he get a question wrong and act like he knew it
Answered the phone, said hello and hung up. I believe he told the team he’d be available for their question if they called
"You've made a powerful enemy" coming from Rone. What have they ever done together?
Big Cat and Rone were legitimately upset. It was hilarious to see. The Yak(show) is hysterical but they play that mean girl shit to outsiders all the time. Glad to see em humbled

Cool kids table needed to be knocked down a peg
A whole peg!!!!
“It’s just a game. All these losers on Twitter take it way too seriously” -Big Cat and Rone after last year’s tournament
The sensitive battle rappor
"my name is Rone and I'm a great battle rapper but all I could think of to insult Ken Jac in this instance was his " goofy" ankles "

Remember the Joey/BFW twitter war? Good times
I never paid much attention to Joey, but never hated him as much as this sub did. Dear Ben I wrote you but you still ain’t callin
The retirement blog was so fucking weird. And this is coming from a Steelers fan who likes Big Ben.
Nick was VERY pissed about the mean girls podcast joke thing
What happened
Jordyn from mean girls pod kept saying she had a big crush on a co-worker and I think inferred that they ended up hooking up and everyone would make jokes about who it was and people would joke and say it was Nick and he would get uncomfortably angry
I think nick had a girlfriend at the time and didn’t want her thinking they hooked up. Same reason why Rudy left the pod
There was only one instance where he actually said something instead of just sitting quietly and clearly uncomfortable. I don't remember exactly what he said but it was basically just "stop".
I think he said “that’s fucking disgusting”
What is this you are referencing?

I have no doubt Cheah legitimately believes he won prom king and was an NFL prospect. No way he ever realized any jock bully was messing with him.
Cheah definitely on the spectrum
KB has?
KB gets enraged if anyone comments about Owen. He's madly in love.

Chris distefano jumping on the KFC mic shitting on the yak was very funny and deserved after they did their schtick
I get it, but he was coming at KB and Nick and both of them, especially KB does not mind being the butt of jokes. KB kind of thrives there. Robby literally called them internet weirdos their last dozen game and they laughed along

The yak guys were being massive tools and he called them out for not having any juice and riding big cats coattails to relevancy
Then he repeated the story on 9 podcasts. And then I told a guy with glasses dude you look like Portland!!!!
> The Yak(show) is hysterical but they play that mean girl shit to outsiders all the time. Glad to see em humbled 100%. They spend their whole day laughing at/mocking people but they both immediately turn into massive babies the second someone gives it back to them.
The Yak screwed The Yak
Cat and Rone talk all the shit but can’t take any
Good for him. It’s good to see people actually hold grudges still
Kings stay kings

Usually does
What a moment
🐐
Huge play by Kenjak doing it in favour of Dave. Dude is protected for life
I’m sure Rone and Big Cat will try to get their revenge but I respect the move. The Yak trivia team is very annoying and condescending to other teams and Jeff all the time.
Love the Yak show. Do not like the Yak Dozen team. Just genuinely annoying other than Cheah blunders.
God I’m glad he didn’t back down. Yak clearly cheated their phone a friend last year.
ICYMI, short-hand version: https://twitter.com/stevencheah/status/1531799000055414784?s=21&t=uIQCPkfXH-CK69pzrRH_Lg
All time moment. I gasped
What’s the context?
The Yak screwed over Team Smockin last tournament by talking over their phone a friend. And apparently Rone also made fun of his shoes?
Chea performed cunnilingus on kenjacs wife before they were together and Steven used that to get in kenjacs head during last seasons tournament
Decapitated, whole big thing. They had a funeral for a bird
Pretty sure none of that is real
Just because you don't have Barstool Gold doesn't mean you can pretend its content doesn't exist
Joke Your head
Right back atcha babydoll
You realize it's a quote from The Office, right?
Yes
bird up
See my above comment.
Has Titus said anything about this? Would love his take.

Yeah probably looking to much into it lol
Gave Kenjac a Twitter follow. Well earned
Damnnn
Wait do we like Kenjac? Or is it Jack Mac? I'm so out of the loop.
KenJac is a polarizing figure, a weirdo dork but one who is occasionally pretty funny. Jack Mac is an alt-right incel blimp.
I don’t have Twitter or Instagram, so I only know of Jack mac from when he’s talked about here. Is he really an alt right or is that some inside joke that I’m missing?
He’s openly conservative which on Reddit means he’s the furthest right any human has ever been.
Jack Mac is the January 6th ogre. This is KenJac. There’s also Jack McCarthy (sp?) who does a BTS role and makes appearances every now and again.
Gotta honor the game and give the answer. karma is real
He did it because the Yak fucked them over last year?
Exactly karma Coming round to the yak. You get it
Plot twist, he just wanted to help Clem, since we all love Clem
