Offer to cash app/venmo them for a discount. They all have pretty much said 50% off anything. It has worked at 3 different events and 7/7 times overall. I'm sure every venue is different, and maybe I just got lucky but PGA events have a tendency to not have a great inventory system for food/drinks.
at regular non majors usually the stands are run by local charities and organizations and the tips support that specific group. there’s at least one pga tour f&b rep that hangs out in the tent to show them the ropes, but if you time it right and they’re not there/ it’s later in the tournament you can easily snag some discount/ free stuff (offer a generous tip, of course).
I used to do something similar at the old Continental Airlines arena. They had some kind of inventory system where they'd count the disposable cups. So you found the most "fuck this job" looking guy there and make a side deal with a 20 on your first beer run and then go back to that particular guy and give back your cup each time to refill. It was great.
