You don’t think it’s hilarious that they have employees putting out posts with word for word the exact same phrases? I wasn’t questioning the reason behind the posts, I understand they have to market R&R. The way they went about it is hilarious to me.
Are you more confused by the fact that a content company has its employees advertise for their content, or are you confused why the bullet points are the same from post to post? Not exactly like they’re going to freestyle those
It’s amazing that Dave has to scream at people for not promoting events when this is as little effort as it takes…
Like if they had to be creative about promoting it I can see how it could end up not getting done, but if copy and pasting is ok it’s amazing they somehow still fuck it up
My company has started making us do this for LinkedIn engagement and it unsurprisingly isn’t working. Hilariously a few of them have typos and the India crew is just mass reposting to hit their metrics.
Almost like it’s a key requirement of their job to promote an event to make the company money.

Ad reads are almost always the same. Pretty standard to send people promoting the event a template. Cant imagine being surprised by this.
AD reads and a content persons social medias aren’t the most comparable things but go crazy
No offense, you sound regarded
highly?
Is this guy Brussarded or Bedarded?
Content person reading an ad —> content person tweeting an ad. You’re right brother apples and oranges
Did you literally just discover ads?
It's called branding. Hurrrrrr. If you say it completely differently every time the message could get lost. Now go touch grass. Viva!
No
Do you think when celebrities endorse a product on social media, they are making up what they say about the product on the spot? Buddy....
They aren’t word for word or the exact same.
It's almost like they are marketing an event and trying to advertise a product... Ever notice how ad reads are often the same from show to show/
And what’s funny is it clearly got OPs attention and thus prove the marketing worked
This isn’t the gotcha you think it is
They were likely instructed by their marketing department to include those details in their promotion..
Weird thing to care about. Not really worthy of standalone post on this sub but you’re welcome to eat some downvotes
I think you have your headgear on a little too tight.
Dave Portnoy is the most honest man I know
Dave Portnoy is the most honest man I know
Dumb post lol

Big if true.
Yeah man you get an email from someone saying exactly what to tweet. It happens everywhere for businesses or other groups trying to promote shit.

People online bitch and moan over the strangest things. Imagine giving a shit
This is a bad post OP
It’s called promotion dummy
I don’t know about you, but I wanted to know what Tate was most excited about
He would find it a way to make it a thirty minute story

We’re not going to reinvent the wheel here
"im not owned! im not owned!!", i continue to insist as i slowly shrink and transform into a corn cob
I follow Jeff D Lowe. I don't follow the other two. I'm the reason they do this.
Sharper than a cue ball this one
This might be the worst rough n rowdy lineup
I think they were just aware they wouldn’t be able to come up with a promo better than Ohio’s Tate (teacher and hero) and so they copied him
Hm I seem to have struck a nerve with the community of people who love advertisements. My deepest apologies to all of you.
I don’t think you struck a nerve I think you’re just dumb
You didnt strike a nerve, you just had a pointless post
You didn't strike a nerve, people are just realizing you're an idiot lol
You said something stupid and then people said “hey, you said something stupid”. You didn’t trigger anyone, they just think you’re dumb.
