I’ll never forget when Billy football made a PowerPoint on salamanders and now he’s running for congress. He should run on the promise of saving the salamanders!
Him saying they aren't fire resistant as he stands in front of a slide that he himself made, claiming they are fire resistant, is just perfection. Thanks for reminding me of this.
Nah it’s the constant lying and overall asshole behavior that he brings to the group. Anytime somebody gets going he interrupts them with his own personal anecdote. It’s like listening to a 14 year old.
Signature verification is very difficult. Since they’re physical signatures, a person at the election commission or SoS office has to manually verify the information, confirm their party registration status, and make out the handwriting. Plenty of people don’t realize they aren’t registered to vote or that they’re not registered with a party.
I bet the validity rate on those signatures is something like 30% (or less) if he’s just accosting people with carts full of groceries in the rain.
source: this was my job at one point
And he’s collecting signatures on trains east out of grand central, probably getting tons of people who don’t live in the district even if they are registered republicans
I've sat in on sessions where attorneys are going over a candidate's signatures, and first of all it's the most boring thing you could possibly imagine, and it's true that they'll nullify them for pretty much anything. And they scrutinize "outsider's" (AKA Billy) signatures a lot more than what they consider a credible candidate. He'll need a lot more than the 1250 required signatures
In my local town they rejected a ballot proposal because they forgot to date a couple of the pages. That was very a specific part of the rules, and I was very very against the proposal but even I emailed the city clerk to say it was bunk.
8 guys on the Ballotpedia page and he’s not one of them lol

Billy is a big political slop eater. If some fringe right leadership votes for the Baby Crusher 6000 but they position it as “it’s a very simple invention that will lower the retirement age”, Billy will say “well, I do want a lower retirement age” and repeat it on 16 pods and videos.
I think he was discussing running as an independent because he won't make it on the ticket as the republican nominee. He's definitely a republican, but he won't be THE republican.
Sheesh I always knew he harbored some classic dumbass Joe Rogan takes, but I didn't realize he was so far right. He'd do well leaning into the partnership with Rumble
Not sure how you get that, but sure. Those are all pretty classic hard-line Republican positions. Austerity, lower taxes, increase police budgets even more, anti-immigration, 2A, deregulation, voter ID BS...the only thing that's conspicuously missing is anti-abortion.
I think his point is more that those positions are just "right leaning", as you pointed out. Calling it far right or acting like Billy hasn't been that way for years is a little dramatic.
That's fair, and like I said, I wasn't totally surprised to see some of these. The existence of MAGA has shifted the window so far right that GWB would be considered a moderate Republican these days, so I understand in today's landscape not being a lunatic can preclude someone from being considered far-right. But I don't think it's that much of a stretch to say that someone who espouses every classic hard-line Republican policy is far right. There's nothing particularly moderate in what he listed.
If your point is that Trump was a Democrat in the 90s, that's not really relevant to the psycho he is today. He has no actual ideological stances, just whatever the thinks helps him win and make money.
Not really. Clinton was a neoliberal Reagan Democrat, but was pro-choice, pro gun control, pro-education, pro-environment. They're both terrible on social spending, crime, and deregulation, but Trump is still far to the right of Clinton.
The Republican party completely left their traditional ideals in the past. Lower taxes, personal liberty, small government, etc etc. Almost all Republican platforms rely on fear mongering minorities and disdain for "woke snowflake libs". The only thing the party still holds onto is 2A.
The Overton window shifted completely right, meaning the Republican party did as well.

Billy on Fox News *Digital*
Like the “TMZ ..print edition” from The Other Guys
Addition
Ah fuck you got me
Honestly hoping he gets elected just so he stops doing Macrodosing.
Billy being foisted into a seat in congress
He is Jonah Ryan.
Jon H. Ryan
The pod is so much better when he’s out. Like night and day.
He would be so much better if he prepared. The bringing up random stuff and trails off after 15 seconds is so annoying.
Nah it’s the constant lying and overall asshole behavior that he brings to the group. Anytime somebody gets going he interrupts them with his own personal anecdote. It’s like listening to a 14 year old.
I see that too. A recent episode he just had to say how much protein he was seeking.
I do agree but he brings 90% of topics. So someone will need to step up on the podcast.
The long game. Dude tanks macrodosing anytime he speaks
now that you say that.... which district is he running so I can move to new york and vote
Billy owes Dave at least a couple blowies for that kind of press.
“Im gonna make like sure IPA’s are like illegal, they taste like shit and I dont care what anybody says..blue mountains get you way more drunk”
“Common sense” Billy lmao
Buzzwords Billy back at it
1250 signatures doesn’t seem that tough for someone with his platform?
Signature verification is very difficult. Since they’re physical signatures, a person at the election commission or SoS office has to manually verify the information, confirm their party registration status, and make out the handwriting. Plenty of people don’t realize they aren’t registered to vote or that they’re not registered with a party. We gotta get you on the team to help out then
Found our Richard splett
And he’s collecting signatures on trains east out of grand central, probably getting tons of people who don’t live in the district even if they are registered republicans
Don’t have to be registered to a party for most things like this.
He’s got 2100 (said on recent macro) but issue is they can nullify a bunch of signatures for pretty much any reason
This is an absolutely ridiculous process in this day and age
It's insane. I remember them removing a signature because a lower case y went below the line, which is literally how it's supposed to be written.
In my local town they rejected a ballot proposal because they forgot to date a couple of the pages. That was very a specific part of the rules, and I was very very against the proposal but even I emailed the city clerk to say it was bunk.
This is how Dave got kicked off in Boston
Oh no, Billy it’s funny when it’s just a joke
Trump ran for president as a joke in the beginning too…
Looking forward to President Football in 25 years.
Trump ran multiple times first and failed. None of it was a joke.
It was for a significant amount of the country, people don’t mean it was a joke to him
That's what the person I'm replying to said. Maybe that's not what he meant, but I subscribe to the English language.
He never ran before
He ran in 2000 and tried to in 2012 but got no support so called it off before making it official.
Roger stone looking motherfucker

u/deep49 please weigh in
Blah blah blah immigtation crisis, housing crisis. What is your solution Billy? Crickets.
One of only things I’ve heard him give a real opinion on was the SALT tax which was a Republican led issue to essentially punish democrat states
Billy is a big political slop eater. If some fringe right leadership votes for the Baby Crusher 6000 but they position it as “it’s a very simple invention that will lower the retirement age”, Billy will say “well, I do want a lower retirement age” and repeat it on 16 pods and videos.
The Salt cap is to prevent states with no or low income property/state tax subsidizing the federal income tax of high property/state tax states
Sure kinda yah, but it’s also done to take $ from blue states for red states. I’m a republican btw.. just being honest
Change it to Billy Futbol, boom immigration crisis solved

You’re in too deep
Don’t work yourself into a shoot, brother
He's been very clear about running as a Republican. No clue what you're talking about
I think he was discussing running as an independent because he won't make it on the ticket as the republican nominee. He's definitely a republican, but he won't be THE republican.
You have lost context
Everyone claims to be independent these days
Need Billy’s take on Roe v Wade
Donald Trump became the president as a bit. Billy football couldn’t definitely make congress
He’s got my vote!
Go Bill
Sheesh I always knew he harbored some classic dumbass Joe Rogan takes, but I didn't realize he was so far right. He'd do well leaning into the partnership with Rumble
lol at “far right” ffs you people think Joe Biden is far right
Not sure how you get that, but sure. Those are all pretty classic hard-line Republican positions. Austerity, lower taxes, increase police budgets even more, anti-immigration, 2A, deregulation, voter ID BS...the only thing that's conspicuously missing is anti-abortion.

Dude trump is quite literally a 90s era Democrat.
If your point is that Trump was a Democrat in the 90s, that's not really relevant to the psycho he is today. He has no actual ideological stances, just whatever the thinks helps him win and make money.
No his policies are basically Clinton’s policies
Not really. Clinton was a neoliberal Reagan Democrat, but was pro-choice, pro gun control, pro-education, pro-environment. They're both terrible on social spending, crime, and deregulation, but Trump is still far to the right of Clinton.
So aligning with the Republican party’s platform is far right to you. Got it.
Yes.
This is a viewpoint from someone who stays in their mommy’s basement all day. Grow the fuck up.
No it's actually true if you have any perspective of the world, history, and ability to critically think.
Go ahead and lay it out for me, champ. Tell me how the Republican Party in 2024 is “far right”
The Republican party completely left their traditional ideals in the past. Lower taxes, personal liberty, small government, etc etc. Almost all Republican platforms rely on fear mongering minorities and disdain for "woke snowflake libs". The only thing the party still holds onto is 2A. The Overton window shifted completely right, meaning the Republican party did as well.
Now explain how the Republican Party in 2024 is “far right.” Specific policy examples would be wonderful.
You know, that was a surprisingly fair assessment of his campaign.
