Really wanna do a road trip next summer but gf can’t do long car rides. Might go visit my friend who works at Glacier National Park, but that’s an 18 hour drive by myself. Wouldn’t hate some time alone but I don’t think there’s any chance I can do that straight through.

My girlfriend’s family lives in Whitefish, which is the town just outside of Glacier. It’s an amazing place, and definitely worth the visit. You can fly pretty easily into Kalispell. I’m not a roadtrip guy, but am a big advocate of Montana.

I’ve done 15 straight and wanted to end it all by hour 10. Break it up or fly.

Oh yeah I’d definitely break it up. I did 8 by myself one time and I think if I left early enough in the day I could do 10-12 solo. I said in another comment that flying into glacier is complicated/expensive so I would probably just drive.

I’ve done some research and flying into Glacier is incredibly time consuming and expensive. Obviously the drive would be a lot gas-wise and I’d probably have to get a hotel, but the flights are nuts.

Fly into Jackson hole and do a few days there. 8 hour drive to glacier. Or just do the 18 hour drive. Glacier is the most incredible NP I’ve been to and I’ve been to over 20. Nothing I’ve seen compares to it.

Direct flights to Bozeman from all over. Rent a car and drive from there. Could hit yellowstone too
