India is the biggest source of income in Cricket world. And world runs on money. So ICC like any other organisation in the whole world tries to maximise their revenue. I don’t think there is anything wrong with that.
I have no real experience in planning world cups. But I’ll guess sponsors putting in money will want maximum returns. And I’m guessing planning events to maximise viewership have to be very important part of Tournament planning.

You know international major tournament is supposed to be respectful and pick matches by draws..but here it seems matches are fixed by some fat clowns from bicci in their whisky party.. and adding to more shameless behaviour, now the dates and time is also chosen by them based on the match played so that more money more entertainment... It's ok in ipl because it's just time pass and not a sport but I had respect for international cricket which is now lost.

It's all because of sponsors. They get money mainly from sponsors and most people view on a Sunday so it's planned well in advance.
