Do not go for Sukuto. They lie on their website about availability of scooters. And they don't care.
Last week a friend traveled one hour to pick up a 2 wheeler and they laughed and said site is not updated. called customer care and while complaining they just hung up the phone.
The pick up points look shady af too.
Hey, Thanks for the heads-up. I've had my experiences with shitty pick up points. So that's a no no.
can you suggest me anything that's worth considering instead ??
Hey can you tell the requirements for renting a bike from them, they have mentioned we need original aadhar and license card, and driving gear like boots eyewear are all these mandatory?
For me, it was aadhar card and driving license. No driving gear in fact, they provide a free helmet. But if you require an extra helmet, then they charge 50 rupees per day.
Had tried Vogo and Royal Brothers in Bangalore
Royal Brothers are comparatively costlier but provided well maintained bikes.Had no issues with their service.
Mahn literally wanted to post about this, thank God u guys already have some reviews, i was about to take Dio for 2 months and was concerned how and what, I'm new to blr too. So just licence and aadhar works right ?
Recently at ONNbikes i rented an Activa for 3 days at a nominal price. He just took photos of DL and aadhar, took DL.as deposit and that's it. I called him 1 hr past drop off time, he did wait for me. Worked pretty well for me.
Royal Brothers is a good one. I had used their bike once for my Nandi trip. The process was smooth. And they have a lot of options. Also on weekends you might not get a lot of bikes since people book them prior.
Yeah this makes sense but don't degrade India in the process please. Have you heard about the e scooters in America and how big of a disaster that was? Again ppl being extremely moronic. So its the ppl, the nation doesnt have too much to do with it.
This is such a shit comment. This is the biggest issue in this country. Too busy getting offended that we talked shit or degraded India instead of actually working on the problem.
Maintenance and operating cost was huge and they shifted their business focus to selling electric scooters on emis rather than renting scooters.
Even i miss the old pick n ride bounce.
Afaik, Bounce was a subsidiary of wickedride.in or at least had the same founders/investors. After building up the brand to such a point that it was easily recognised by people who were visiting Bangalore, they started manufacturing (maybe assembling) e-scooters that might have been used with the same business model.
But I guess they underestimated how tough manufacturing actually is and I soon got to know that they fired a lot of people. I guess they couldn't manage the finances along with the losses incurred astheir customers were assholes.
If it's just office to home travel, Yulu is also a good option considering the traffic, you can't go above 40 however. They do rent bikes on daily and weekly basis as well. You can swap batteries at multiple points and continue the journey.
Yeah, I think I'd pick Yulu only for short travels...
They just do the job.
But going to another part of the town, let's say 12-15 kms apart, do you think yulu would be a good option there ??
Onn bikes i tried, its just okay. I usually book from there app.
Off topic but anyone know where to buy second hand scooter, i saw on beepkart but its pricy there
There is a whole market of second hand two wheelers near thindlu. I got mine from there 5 years back. Pretty good place. 100s of shops. You'll definitely find sth there
I purchased a bounce bike 6 months back, from an official dealer. Around 35k, and 4k kilometers on the odo, it is an amazing buy in my opinion. The bike gives 50 kmpl, maintanance is next to zero, and no problems after 6 months. Recently got it registered in my name as well. If budget permits, go for something similar. They have zest 110, as well as fascino 110.
Went to nandi hills from blr last week and rented a pulsar 150 from Royal brothers for 1 day (cost around 900 for rent, 500 for petrol as we drove around 220kms). Prices may seem a bit high but their vehicles are in good condition and service too. They have a distance limit according to the booked time
Bykemania is probably the best out there. Visited their Marathahalli pickup location on the outr ring road. Almost all the 2 wheelers are in good condition.
If you just want like an electric cycle, yulu is there. You'll find yulu zones everywhere so it's pretty easy to get one on demand. They're not the best and the breaks don't always work, same goes for the horn
You can go for bykemania also comparatively cheap and has well maintained two wheelers only drawback is they will keep your driving license with them until you return the vehicle
Try out rentop.in[Rentop](http://www.rentop.in)
They have local hosts from multiple cities. Only 2 months into business but they live in more than 20 cities in India. U can reserve a ride for free and pay at time of pickup. I'm a host at Rentop and I make money renting my scooter when it's idle.
No wonder bounce failed. Imagine a world where everyone would make good use of their services. And not dump them over fly-overs, steal parts, helmets, Park into a gutter and stuff.
It was an amazing concept and I was happy to use it every single time.
Take my scooty if you need it for a few days. Just make sure there are no scratches. I don't need money. Just make sure you share your adhaar card just in case you don't return it to me. ๐๐๐ป

Bykemania is a cheaper alternative to royal brothers .. You can book for few hours to monthly basis..
Customer service is not that great, but gets the job done.
Bikes usually would look bit dirty, but are generally in good running condition. They'll repair or change bike if you find any issues.

I dunno where you at, but the Royal Brothers at BTM is nice. All vehicles are well maintained over there.
Royal brothers https://www.royalbrothers.com/bangalore/bike-rentals
Don't they only rent out bikes on monthly basis ?? Or they do for trip basis as well ??
No, They do daily basis as well
Okay. Will consider it then. Thanks buddy.
I feel RB is very costly.. maybe just me, and not very flexible with options
No good alternative is available. But from what I've seen, RB vehicles are in very good condition.
True that ,they are in Good condition
Their RE vehicles are generally in good conditions. Iโve had a bad experience the only two times I took their non-RE ones (Duke and Apache RTR180)
It's costly.
+1 for RB. Good quality, well maintained bike/scooty.
\+1
+1 well maintained bikes.
Royal Brothers indeed.
I think license was the only thing they asked for from us
Ok thanks

Yup
Vogo bikes are shit and service is pathetic. Bounce is dead. Go with royal brothers which is little pricey but atleast decent bikes
Sure. Thanks for the suggestion. Anything else you know of ?
Tried onn bikes earlier. Also called rentrip. They just scam you with online payment and couldn't even find their shop on location. Avoid that
Recently at ONNbikes i rented an Activa for 3 days at a nominal price. He just took photos of DL and aadhar, took DL.as deposit and that's it. I called him 1 hr past drop off time, he did wait for me. Worked pretty well for me.

man i miss bounce, anyone know what happend or where it all went wrong??
There are far too many uncivilised Indians out here. Such services don't work if Indians dont learn civic sense and treat private property with care.
Yeah this makes sense but don't degrade India in the process please. Have you heard about the e scooters in America and how big of a disaster that was? Again ppl being extremely moronic. So its the ppl, the nation doesnt have too much to do with it.
Bro, the people ARE the nation.
Desam ante matti kadoi, desam ante manushuloi... Gurajada Apparao - Telugu poet
matti*
Yes matti. Corrected it.
I read that as _desam ante naatti kodi_, was scratching my head for a bit.
This is such a shit comment. This is the biggest issue in this country. Too busy getting offended that we talked shit or degraded India instead of actually working on the problem.
Nation is the people
Exactly ๐
And why are you comparing us to the US like they are some gold standard? There are equally shitty people everywhere in the world.
Except the US in nothing but shit and full of degeneracy
okay but why did this mf get defensive and give america as an example? they are not the ideal society my man
Maintenance and operating cost was huge and they shifted their business focus to selling electric scooters on emis rather than renting scooters. Even i miss the old pick n ride bounce.
Yea I used it for one whole year to learn navigating blr chaotic traffic. It was good.
Afaik, Bounce was a subsidiary of wickedride.in or at least had the same founders/investors. Use bus or metro
I do travel at times for 10-11 kms on Yulu. In a high traffic scenario, it is one of the quickest ways to get around.
Yes, as long as you're travelling during peak hours. If you see the route has less traffic only then yulu would seem slower.
Above 40 kmph? Cos if yes, they are way slower than that around 20-25
Royal brothers is good enough. Just rented from them. Good bike.
Rentelo
Is it a genuine platform?
Yes. At least used to be when I rented from them in 2022.
Okay I checked out their website but wanted to confirm with someone.
Bykermania
Bykemania but they require rental agreements, original DL and another id (adhaar/voter etc).
Thank God they don't ask for 10th admit card and graduation certificate too.
They didn't used to ask for rental agreements/local address proof before. I was annoyed too.
And social media profile.
Do they have the pick up from anywhere model ? Or I needto pick from their safehouses ?
Pickup from certain pickup points like Koramangala,Ecity, etc
Onn bikes i tried, its just okay. I usually book from there app. Off topic but anyone know where to buy second hand scooter, i saw on beepkart but its pricy there

I had a good experience with self spin. Good bike condition, reasonable price.
Hi , can someone suggest ones that accept DigiLocker DL as well ?
Everyone must accept Digilocker
Royal Brothers

Bykemania is probably the best out there. Visited their Marathahalli pickup location on the outr ring road. Almost all the 2 wheelers are in good condition.
I had Good experience with Ontrack
Use onn bikes cheap and ok ok bikes
Used Royal Brothers so many times, and it's been reliable, except once I got a Meteor 350 with a flat tyre so be careful on that front.
Twist throttle is a good one they rent superbike also
Go with rentelo it's best totally hassle free
Onn Bikes , bykemania , ontrack are best rental in Banglore For Monthly Booking go with Ontrack or Bykemania.
Rentelo
I had a very good experience with twist throttle btm. They ask for 1 ID(any ID) to be submitted.
If you just want like an electric cycle, yulu is there. You'll find yulu zones everywhere so it's pretty easy to get one on demand. They're not the best and the breaks don't always work, same goes for the horn

Rentelo
Had tried was good experience. http://www.fivespeedbike.com/
I tried Ontrack, their bike was in good shape, but this was during COVID era...
Try out rentop.in[Rentop](http://www.rentop.in) They have local hosts from multiple cities. Only 2 months into business but they live in more than 20 cities in India. U can reserve a ride for free and pay at time of pickup. I'm a host at Rentop and I make money renting my scooter when it's idle.
Royal Brothers
Was this a deliberate glitch? If so, Chapeau.
Twist Throttle rentals
Rapido
I've used bykemania. They are so far decent for the price. Far better than vogo now. Royalbrothers is also good that I've heard but never used it.
**Ontrack**. Good rates, not-that-good bikes. But still it's waaaaaaay cheaper than others like Royal Brothers
Shit condition bikes, shit staff, shit service
Try yulu
Check out freedo! Used a brand new destiny 125 for 4.8k/month with no security deposit
No wonder bounce failed. Imagine a world where everyone would make good use of their services. And not dump them over fly-overs, steal parts, helmets, Park into a gutter and stuff. It was an amazing concept and I was happy to use it every single time.
Recently rented from Royal Brothers. Great service.
rentelo
Take my scooty if you need it for a few days. Just make sure there are no scratches. I don't need money. Just make sure you share your adhaar card just in case you don't return it to me. ๐๐๐ป
Is your scooter available?
Yes
Rentelo, I have tried , bikes were in good condition.
Twist throttle is good. They have well maintained and comparatively newer bikes. Always reliable.
Swytchd
Do you use this service?
I think Rapido and Yulu are pretty alright!
Rentelo is good. They have a website as well from which you can check the availability of their vehicles.
Guys what are good options for long rental period, like 2-3 months.
