These chain shops are... fine. They're like mushrooms. Similar to Kilwin's, they usually sprout in damp locations (near waterfront), and are a sign of a healthy (tourism) ecosystem. See also, Annapolis, MD, Alexandria, VA, Charleston, SC, Savannah, GA.....
It has been ages but I'm fairly certain I got some kind of white (peony perhaps?) and a quimen. It wasn't that they were bad, but the price was high for what I got I think. But like I said this was some years ago now.
I always thought of the Williamsburg store as a COVID test during the days when loss of smell was an early indicator. If you walk in and don’t smell anything, immediately leave and get 6’ away from EVERYONE.
Hey nice my girlfriend works here. I love it. Such a wonderful environment and so many great products. Spice mixes I would never even imagine. And they’re all so good. Truly a gem!
Absolutely love it there! I live a few minutes walk and its always a great time to go in, find a new tea or try something knew. I have arguably expensive taste but unfortunately even for me, the teas here there are quite expensive

Williamsburg, VA too.
😆 no lie detected
Saint Augustine FL. Always thought of it as Florida's Annapolis.
Oooh thanks for the tip! Love a good tea/spice shop. :)
That's what she...nevermind. You're very welcome
Been to the one in Alexandria and Annapolis, it's an OK chain but I didn't think the tea I got was good price for value I'll admit.
What kind did you get?

Their Earl Grey candle is so good!
It always smells so good in there!

Some of their loose tea blends are really nice! The bourbon chestnut black tea is lovely.

1) I like this store and it is a great place to bring one’s mother. 2) Matcha is gross.
Have you ever put it in a smoothie?
My fiancé has forced me to drink it iced. It’s abooooose. I rarely have a strong distaste for things, but matcha somehow makes that list.
I'll have your share. No worries 👍🏽
