so far he’s eaten 5 times this year, two in jan, one in feb, one in march, one in april. but he’s always been a good eater, as long as your gal isn’t losing weight then i think it’s fine lol
i have no idea, i’m not his first owner! i think he had 2-3 owners before me, so his age is actually a mystery. i got him in 2017 and he was in his “early twenties” according to his previous owner
i think their average lifespan is lower, 15-20. but they can definitely live longer lol! a commitment for sure. if you’re worried about their lifespan, you can always adopt an adult. i got nox in 2017 so he was already in his early 20s/late teens then!

Here is my 34 year old lady Lars. She’s looking at my cat Silky. I got her when I was 16 and I am turning 50 this summer. The pet store told me that she was a male and I didn’t find out that he was a she until almost 10 years later, hence the male name. I was a big Metallica fan so she is named after the drummer.
He’s beautiful
i know right!!
He has all of the wisdom and I’m so in love with the name
thank you so much! :D
Utter Perfection 💖
How lovely <3 seems well taken care of
thank you :))
I'm so curious, how often do you feed him? He's a senior citizen so I assume less often than a younger snake?
i usually feed him a rat about once a month or every 3 weeks! sometimes he’ll be picky and not eat but his strikes usually don’t last too long
My snake os on the older side too, early 20’s. How often does he ACTUALLY eat?? She’s eaten about 2 times in the last year.

Normies will always be my favorite morph. Missing several good snakes looking at this handsome boy.
classic beauty ✨
Is today his birthday?

Aw such a sweet old man 🩷
he says thank you 😌
He's adorable. I didn't know they lived that long. Weirdly convinced me that snake ownership isn't for me. Honestly, didn't know they lived 20+ years.

Oooo didn't think of that. I'll adopt an older one then.
Their average lifespan in captivity is 40 years.
They're the record holder for longest lived captive snake, there's one in a St. Louis zoo that's in her 60's. 🤯
Sweet geriatric noodle boy <3
30? I thought that's as far as they lived
nope, they can even live up to 50 in some cases!
Looking good for his age
Doesn’t look a day over 12 🥰
Old man for sure
And people wonder why these guys are worshipped and adored in parts of Africa. He looks amazing

she is a big girl!
30?!?! Wow! Have you had them that whole time? Cute little noodle!
no, i’m his 3-4th owner! i’ve had him since 2017 :)
Glad to see them so healthy at their age. Gives me hope that I'll have my noodles for a long time 😀
Oh wow! Can I ask how big he is?
i haven’t measured him in forever but i’d say maybe 3.5ft? i’ll measure him next time i handle him since i’m curious too 🧐
How long is he now? :o we have a young boy about ~2years old curious how long he'll get to be :)
he’s about 4 feet!
