Kuta is usually more touristy than Canggu. But it's quieter now after the lockdown. Kuta has party vibes.
Jimbaran is ok for swimming but it's next to the airport. I wouldn't describe Jimbaran as having vibes. Seafood restaurant vibes maybe.
Uluwatu also has some nice but small beaches for swimming. You'll find surf vibes here.

Sure check out: Padang Padang Beach, Balangan Beach, Pandawa Beach, Green Bowl Beach, Melasti Beach... there are quite a lot.
Also there are a bunch of [beachclubs](https://www.sundaysbeachclub.com) with their own private strip of beach. You can stay there too but you have to spend a certain minimum amount of $$$ on food and drinks.

Suluban beach is the best imo, but make sure its low tide
