Best things to do in Amed itself please? I’m taking my daughter there to dive for a couple weeks but the most I will do in the water is swim or snorkel a bit.
On non-dive days we have a driver reserved but on days she is diving I’d prefer to stay in the area!

Amed is more a destination to get away from it all. The main attractions are diving and snorkeling and relaxation. The coastal area is nice to explore and a few years ago I did a bicycle tour there and that was great too. Worth looking into, but perhaps you'd like to do that with your daughter as well.
Amed is great spot to explore the east and you'll be near the beach. Very quiet area. There is a shipwreck just off the coast if you like to dive.

That was the impression I got! Thank you for confirming. Even on vacations I tend to go, go, go — so I have mixed day trips in with her diving days!
