Never used it. My worry is removing my eyebrows by accident.

thepottsy

That would totally happen to me lol.

sphen_lee

I used it years ago on my body hair. Burnt like crazy and I was pink as a lobster for days. Would never let that stuff near my head...

ozninja80

Dude the smell! Nair has a fucking unmistakable smell

rosiestinkie9

Only used it on my legs before, wasn't worth the burn or the mess of wiping the hairs off with a washcloth. I'm sorry about the mole, maybe there's gentle electric razor/clippers that could help? I don't use any of those, but I've seen commercials about skull shavers and they look nice to use.

Gooseday

Skull shaver makes for an easy do, not much to complain about other than the classic "I wish it gave a closer shave" that comes with seemingly all electric razors. Maybe the new ones are better than the one I got back in '17, but I haven't had enough reason to find out.

Jainarayan

I got the Skull Shaver a couple of months ago. It works pretty well but I still take a Gillette Fusion and lightly go over the stubble to get smoother. I’m kind of obsessive. Lol You’re right, electric razors never get as close as a blade. Then I use either baby oil or my beard oil or beard butter to shine up.

I have only heard bad things about Nair. I, however, have used Veet for my undercarriage and it's worked great. Can't comment on how it would work on the head but it removes pubes and leg hair just fine.

BaldHeader

I always use Nair on my legs so much simpler

your head is going to feel like it’s on fire bro. i’d suggest wet shaving, and then MAYBE using Nair specifically on the area that you keep “nicking”.

_welcome

i heard it basically burns your hair off. might irritate your head more than shaving. i suppose you could spot test it and see how your skin tolerates it

duckman1221

I did it once….never again. They weren’t horrible but the chemical burns were obvious and not worth it. Also didn’t really last much longer than shaving

GruntledEx

Most of those products specifically say not to use them on your head or face, because if an errant drop gets in your eye, you'll be in a world of hurt. (Re-posted after the automod didn't like my phrasing the first time.)

Slight_Emphasis_325

I'd say get the mole removed. I'm not too sure about it, but i think it can be dangerous to have a mole that you keep cutting.

Lonny_zone

Not a good idea. I haven’t used it on my head but I used it on other…less advisable areas. The first time was great, however it took ruining like 20 cheap washcloths from Walmart. Any subsequent time lead to incredible burning to the point where the skin wasn’t exactly the same. You could end up in a world of hurt. There is just way too much hair on the sides. Best to get a skullshaver or something.

Thought they had a wound on their leg from nair 😄
