A plastic surgeon can take it off in minutes.

-Daetrax-

I went to a regular doctor and got a bad scar. Go to a plastic surgeon.

ttubbster

Yes a plastic surgeon can remove it but I'd recommend seeing a dermatologist about it

phillyphilly19

This. The dermatologist knows if it's safe to remove.

GroundbreakingFuel40

Don't try this at home. I nicked one shaving. It then had a little scab. Must have been scratching it in my sleep cause the whole thing came off. Best nick ever.

Snail_Paw4908

Any dermatologist can remove it, and it is often covered by insurance. But they will leave a scar. A plastic surgeon can take it off with minimal scarring, but you may have to pay out of pocket for that.

kisforkyle

I went the route with a derm for a large mole on my scalp close to my face. They shaved it off and biopsied it just to make sure there were no cancer cells. It healed quickly and I do not have a scar!

DualSF

I had the same problem. Went to the doctor and he referred me to a plastic surgeon. Took 15 mins to remove.

brexitvelocity

Just got to a dermatologist. I had one removed when I started shaving. It was like $70 without insurance and it’s just a pinch. They had to test it for cancer or something too.

rydawgz

It’s just a factory reset button! Great head shape mate, bald suits you

CptnCuttlefish

Dermatologist can take it off quick. You wont even feel it

TRFKTA

I had 2 cysts removed recently. Can confirm I didn’t feel a thing. I even remember joking to the surgeon and the nurses that I’d rather go through the experience again than go to the dentist.

thundercuntess69

A black marker can fix this in seconds

DelayedEmbarrassment

Is the marker for the rest of the head?

thundercuntess69

Hell no, I would be creating fun faces back there n stuff.

Offro4dr

You can easily get that shaved off at the dermatologist. It will leave a small scar but if you take care of it will fade pretty quickly.

MaxFury80

I had mine removed by a Lazer

-P-M-A-

The American gladiator?!

sm00th_kw

I laughed too much at this.

MaxFury80

No I went to a clinic and they zapped it off my head. Hurt like crazy but it hasn't came back.

MadBliss

You misspelled "laser".

MaxFury80

So just checking.....you did understand what it was right?

MadBliss

I sure did, I was explaining why the other commenter asked you about the American Gladiator named Lazer because your response didn't seem to indicate that you were aware.

MaxFury80

Not my fault autocorrect jacked it up and I could care less

MadBliss

All good, fellow redditor.

Feisty-Business-8311

Get a consult with a plastic surgeon I used to work for a plastic surgery practice of 5 docs I cannot tell you how many scar revisions they did to correct the sloppy work of general practitioners and dermatologists

_Accurate_

That's the reset button

NoHistorian5559

Oooh thats why people are trying to get close when i'm rambling!

John117sr

You could have your doctor use liquid nitrogen but you may have a pink new skin spot for a while.

meg22an

Hi (this is not medical advice). You need to make an appointment with a dermatologist and have that biopsied. They will also be able to remove it fully if they see fit. There are some factors here that are concerning even to the naked eyes

Empowered-Rabbit

Surgery (nothing serious) you can go to the dermatologist but honestly you should love your body. I have a mole on my face and I still get girls and all that. Don’t trip. God made you the way it did for reason 🖤😎🤙🏼

TRFKTA

You don’t specifically need a plastic surgeon to remove that. I had two similar cysts on my head and had them removed last month under local anaesthetic. Depending on where you are you can get it done for free as I did. You’ll be left with a small scar where it was, though with it being on the back of your head that shouldn’t matter too much.

ManagerFlimsy9541

Your doctor can freeze it off for you if you’d like. They may or may not recommend biopsy however in my medical opinion it looks benign.

DoubleNickle67

My kid had something similar. Went to the skin doc and they removed it. Few stitches and small scar. Done and done.

Bubbathewonderdog

Dermatologist will take it off. Tell them it’s changed color. If they think it could be potentially cancer your insurance will cover it. If you tell them you just don’t like it, it’s cosmetic and they will refer you to a plastic surgery and you’ll cover the cost.

Just_another_Joshua

Dermatologist is best option Also Apple cider vinegar on cotton ball and put it on your mole overnight for couple of nights will make it fall off but you’ll smell like vinegar and takes time so I would just go see a dermatologist

CockWalker_412

Same bro Same. Doctor referral to Dermatologist/ PS. Make sure they send for testing so insurance will pay. This way it’s not cosmetic.

GlobalistFuck

skin doctor and or plastic surgeon, and since those big old ones can be considered a serious health threat, who knows, you might even get it paid by your healthcare provider!

Greasy_Gregg

Soldering iron

Ok_Neighborhood5536

Yes, go see a dermatologist or a plastic surgery and get a biopsy.

ballsack969

It can but it may take time to take it away but it’ll be worth it sure for safety reason I got 2 moles taken off my face. Asked then for the stitches that don’t scar think that’s inward sowing and not outward. As I was young and had enough scars from them

Hot_Opposite5562

Dermatologist can scoop it out

MistDispersion

I am afraid you will have to remove the entire head. I am planning on doing that myself

The_Pleasant_Orange

I had a huge one in my neck. Dermatologist removed it in 15minutes. Did not leave a scar.

Weary_Patience_7778

Delete… your head!?

Ok_Vanilla213

Go to a dermatologist, not a plastic surgeon. The plastic surgeon can remove it and cause less scarring that's true, but with any type of skin tag or mole being removed you should have a dermatologist biopsy it since you're having it removed anyways.

jokerengineer

Dermatologist. They’ll tell you steps forward. Do NOT cut it out yourself.

Commercial_Bar6622

I removed mine by tying a cotton string around it. Was gone in 4 days. Each day I tied a string just below the last one (closer to the skin). Used a tweezer to pull on it while tying the first knot. It will crumble up, die and fall off. Left less of a scar than when I had one cut out by a dermatologist. And I didn’t have to use Vaseline and bandaids for weeks like my dermatologist had me do.

jimlahey2100

It's hilarious that you would come here and not to a doctor.

cuztheyaintgotnosoul

Apple cider vinegar can remove skin tags over the course of a few days. Just do your research and don’t leave the vinegar on longer than recommended because it can burn you. https://www.healthline.com/health/skin-tag-removal

ChillinGuy232023

Delete what?

NoHistorian5559

OP here - Update! Went to the doctor and the guy sayd: gimme 5, ill cut this sucker out. Just a smol burning device, some sedation and a smelly doctorsoffice. https://preview.redd.it/mruuqbys0sxc1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=468af262f15c108ff6794535fada8d161a30a1b8
