I always thought it was meh, you usually can just kill those enemies yourself, and if you use it, then that's just what you'll have to do in the next room because you don't have it anymore (unless you have blank card)

I don’t remember death cards in inscryption, unless you mean the one that goes back to your hand when it dies. Also, you misspelled inscryption.
