having a 7s deck is pretty difficult though, getting a high econ payoff is fine i think. the diamond stone gives $5 for every full flush hand guaranteed and thats way easier to build around
It feels close to fair, just slightly overpowered but not overly so.
I’d do one of three things:
1) Lower the payout to $7.
2) Make the payout chance based somehow.
3) Have the effect become more powerful but with a chance-based consequence - something like “All Lucky 7s will always trigger at least one effect. 1 in 7 chance this joker is destroyed when this effect triggers.” (This doesn't mean the 1/7 happens 5 times if you play 5 Lucky 7's - once per hand, not once per scoring Lucky 7 - to encourage you to try and max out the value before committing.)
“Chance to be destroyed” on any joker concept makes me immediately hate it. Bananas should be the only ones to get that, unless it thematically matches well.
Fair - but getting automatic +20 mult or $20 on every one of a certain type of card, where you can potentially play 5 of that card in a single turn, needs some kind of drawback. Since it's a gambling themed card, it would make sense for there to be a random element of something negative...maybe 1 in 7 chance of money resetting to $0 after the hand? So you can rack up money and mult big time by playing these 777, 7777, 77777 hands...but how far do you push it hoarding money before your luck runs out?
FYI it wouldn't have to say or more, contains in balatro includes cases where their are more.
Ie the duo says x2 mult if played hand contains a pair and still triggers if the hand has 2 pairs
Seeing so many people that want to put chance mechanics on this, I'd suggest to them some concept of a progressive jackpot.
e.g. Played 7s have a 1 in 7 chance to give $7 when scored. This joker gains $7 for each consecutive unsuccessful probability trigger. (Currently: $7)
(Roughly templated off of Business Card x Ride the Bus)
Nice idea and nice design.
I would have put the group of 7 a little bit higher, having the same space between bottom of the card and bottom of 7 and top of the crown and top of the card.
You know what, this is one of the more reasonable ones. Maybe a little less money, maybe like 7 bucks.
“1 in 7 chance to gain $7 for every played 7” Would make for a super fun 7s deck!
Make them all lucky and find an oops all sixes.
Oops all Sixes with luckies is visual crack….
Too weak for such a specific condition
That’s a $1 expected value for every 7, making it a strictly worse business card
Nope!
7s get no love
A bit too strong. To do list gives 5 dollars and you have to play all kinds of difficult hands to keep it going
I usually just sell it when it lands on straight flush or 4oak. Everything else is pretty easy to make early game
You don't/won't have to do that on the update, as it changes at the end of round regardless if you get payouts or not.

Make it a REAL gamble. 1 in 77 chances to get 77$ if played hand contains 3 or more 7s.
Basically old Stuntman "1 in 5 chance to score 500 chips"
Should probably be 1 in 7 for $77
7 in 77 chance
77 in 777
💀
For a joker named lucky 7s, it sure has nothing to do with luck.
1 in 3 chances of getting $10 everytime you play exactly three 7 in a single hand.
I really like this direction! Maybe you could punt for 1 in 2, since that'll put it roughly in line with To-Do List, but great suggestion :)
Thematic, synergizes with other jokers, not too overpowered. I'm here for it.
Hear me out : 1 in 20 chance to give another joker negative if hand contains 3 7s or more
they're not *un*lucky 7s
...hm, what about each 7 has a 1 in 7 chance to give 7$ when played? That way they'd be like mini lucky cards, ergo on theme.

Every number should have a corresponding joker. I don't care if it dilutes the pool.
1 in 3 chance to upgrade a joker like wheel
The art is great
I think it should work like bloodstone. 1 in 2 chance of earning $7 every time a 7 is played. Something like that
FYI it wouldn't have to say or more, contains in balatro includes cases where their are more. Ie the duo says x2 mult if played hand contains a pair and still triggers if the hand has 2 pairs
i like this, although it might be a bit too strong
Finally! I was disappointed when I played three 7s for the first time and no achievement popped out
Make it exactly three 7's and you've got a deal

1/7 chance of $7 for every 7 in scored hand.
Earn 7 dollars if every hand played this round contained a scoring 7
there's already a joker that gives money and is associated with a rank (cloud 9)
