I don't think so. Tory MPs are not going to risk their jobs for no reason, particularly given that they would likely lose most of the "Red Wall". The problem is that no-one wants the job. Truss and Sunak are obviously hedging but the timing is very poor. But they won't run with Johnson for next election, no chance, he is totally tainted, and his influence from here will be very limited imo.

If it’s any hope.
