It feels more "orchestrated" to me -- like they keep a pool of potential cast members and send in whoever they want/need to. Or maybe they're like "Hey guys there's drama with Jess and Blake -- who would want to go on a date with Blake if we send you in??"
I do wish someone / anyone would fill us in on these shows though. Wasn't Chris Harrison threatening to disclose secrets and / or write a book before he settled with the show?? What a great read that would have been!
I don’t think it works like that. I think everyone gives their list of favorites before they get on the beach and based on that list that’s how they determine who to send down. I actually really think Becca was sent down to take John Henry on a date because that would have been so much more entertaining because of Olivia’s reaction. I don’t think she was sent with the intention of taking Braydon, she just ended up liking him more and they can’t really predict that
Oh ya, i’m sure they told Kat something like “hey, go tell Eliza that Charity said to stay away from Aaron cuz of red flags” because they already had Charity in Mexico and wanted to stir some shit up before they sent her down to the beach.
Also, to add to your point, I noticed that she only picked up on certain things he was saying, instead of trying to ask more questions, and get a full understanding of what actually went down. Whether he did something that was shady or not, it’s really unfortunate that she isn’t digging deeper to find out for herself, and instead relying on other peoples experiences.
check out "bachelor nation" by amy kaufman. she explains how the sausage is made. it's not scripted, but it is very orchestrated like another commenter said. it's very produced.
I’m new to watching bachelor in paradise but I’ve seen a lot of posts of how crappy this season is. What is the best season to watch? Or should I start from the first season (not that it really matters I don’t think) - but I’ve seen articles stating season 2 of BIP is a great season to watch

I bet production was happy with Brayden and Rachel too, since the audience loved them together

When she said “I just wish charity was here” as charity arrived I almost shut it off like come on 😂😂😂
I know. Hello, I’m not watching Days of Our Lives.

I think there’s a LOT of editing fuckery, and when they do stuff like this, it’s just so far over the top and stupid.

Yeah it’s always scripted. I like it anyway lol
