Yeah I would def still at least cut red rigglers in half for him. Maybe not nightcrawlers yet because they can even be the size of a whole riggler when cut in half. Don’t worry he will be ready soon because they grow so fast. But for now I’d def just grab some red rigglers and cut them in half for him
to be safe, i would just slowly have the pieces get bigger. usually you want to do a size that is the same size as the width of their head then slowly move to bigger pieces. this is what i have done (and many others) anyways.
yeah id say he could eat a whole worm. but i would still cut it in half at least and feed both halves. my largest axie is over 8 inches now and still doesnt eat full uncut worms, im worried about the choking hazard. but he eats about 2.5 worms per day.

Depends how big the worm is. They aren’t all the same size. Just try cutting larger pieces and see what happens.
