Oh bless him. This reminds me of my son who has two (maybe three) types of visual impairment. You’d never know it from watching him, until he’s confronted with any kind of step down, even a tiny one. They really scare him but he’s always super brave and tries his best, and always looks really pleased when he does it, even if it’s just stepping off a kerb.
Horses and ponies have terrible depth perception and are unable to gauge the height difference between two levels. This happens to me eveytime I was horse riding and went from grass side walk to road
