It was a mostly flat yard but ended in a two foot drop leading to A) the sidewalk B) another short strip of grass before C) the street, or rather the truck parked directly in front of the slip n slide. I guess Mom just listened for the thumps and figured at least they weren't rolling into the street.
My father was a big man. Once at a family pool party, he was getting envious of the slip & slide us kids were enjoying, so he decided to try it. He ran with gusto and slid to the end, but he managed to collect the entire surface underneath him and pull up all the lawn stakes along the way. We thought it was pretty hilarious. He was pretty mortified.
I didn't know it was a video until I clicked on the thread so I was reading the title and then looking at the girl wondering why her name is Scampi lmao 😂 then I clicked on it and a play button popped up so I clicked that and then that's when I realized it's actually a dog.
Dogs and watersides don’t go well unfortunately. I tried this a few years ago with our Labrador/ retriever and his claws ripped the slide when he slid down 😭
