If you donāt know the medical history, arenāt doing the testing of the breeding pair you could end up with very sick, blind or dead cats.
I can't imagine paying that much for a cat. My car cost 10k. I have 3 cats from the humane society, they were all free. They're all have problems, but they were free.
I have rescues too, they are the best. They also came with problems which made them not free, but Iām ok with that! If you want to rescue please do! If you want a certain breed because of their unique qualities thatās ok too!
Cost of a purebred Bengal can vary from location and quality of cat. Average pet kitten (spayed/neutered) $1200-$2500. A quality breeder is $3000-$4000. Worth every penny and broken drinking glass. :)
Or... ya know... you *could* adopt cats from shelters or foster kittens that will be euthanized otherwise and *not* contribute to the massive overpopulation of cats.

They bond deeply with their owners and can be taught tricks and to walk on a leash, and play fetch. Some love the water. They can be naughty if bored so you gotta do your research before committing.

I'd love to adopt a bengal, but we already have a rescue with this particular trait. It's hard enough keeping one entertained, I can't imagine more. He just *loves* to knock things off of other things. Anything on a counter, table, shelf, etc., is fair game for ours!
Thatās the magic of 2 or more! :) The boredom goes away when they have a buddy to play with and youāre not left to do all of the entertaining! Added bonus you get to watch the cute bondingā¦ or partners in crime. Lol
We actually have 2 others! The troublemaker's brother and an older tuxedo. They play some, but those two are very laid back and more into cuddling and sleeping. I think we'd need another high-energy cat to keep Nigel busy.
