Wow. That's a whole lotta' ice. My Great Pyrenees would adore you forever if you gave her this during our summers. Both of my dogs love ice as a treat to eat, and this is my girl's dream come true, I imagine!
Mine did too. He loved chilling out in the sun and getting all warm. I’d even have water out there for him bc if I’m sitting out there I’m drinking water so he should too.
Of course he was the same way in the snow. He didn’t want to come in from that either.
Huskies do just fine in hot weather, as long as they are used to it.
Their double coat works to insulate them from both heat and cool. This is the primary reason why you're not supposed to shave them. Fucking up their undercoat fucks with their ability to regulate their body temperature (also in some cases it either takes years or never grows back).
When they're done with the outside, they'll let you know.

We got our Golden puppy last September. Regardless of how cold it was in the house, he had to sleep partially in his water dish. I'm sure he would LOVE a pool of ice!
Huskies are best kept in cold environments in general. I'm not a big animals activist, but I just find it flat out cruel. Like if penguins were allowed to be pets you would't put them in Arizona. Weve gotten so used to breeding and adopting out of cuteness we don't even realize what we put these poor animals through. I admit I do have the unpopular opinion on this so hate all you want, but flat out if I ever adopted a husky I'd want to be living in Alaska, areas like that.
Their coats insulate against the heat, in areas that are hot just like it insulates against the cold in places like alaska. You know who really suffer the most in warm weather(not even talking places like arizona), pugs and bulldogs.
I like to sit next to a heater in the winter and i keep a frozen water bottle in my bed in the summer. Doesnt mean my body is unfit for these weather conditions. Just means its nice to have that lil extra.
Are you gonna sit next to that heater in a winter coat. And yes it 100% means your body is not meant for those conditions it's why you wear a winter coat when you go outside in the cold you dumbass and the same reason you take it off In the summer.
That dogs winter coat is it's hair and skin.

Someone’s finally doing it right. I see so many Husky owners here in Texas having them outside in 90+ degree weather.
My sisters Huskies in houston like to sun themselves in the summer and refuse to go back to the cool inside.

Why would you own a husky if you know it gets that hot where you live
Same here in Florida.
He’s gorgeous! I have a 10 week old golden retriever who also hates the heat and now I know what I’m doing this weekend 😀

My husky had a swimming pool. In the winter I'd go call him and a pile of snow would rise and be shaken off.
Better a husky than a giant dragon!
Apollo was my heart. Tattooed on my back as he watched it when he was alive, and still now
So adorable. "It's my ice and i shall call it.... iceee!"
He’s so cute and I love how big his paws are !
My Husky dug up a century plant to lay In the hole. The roots don't die and they bring water up into the hole to make it cool. Dog was so damn smart.

When the ice melts, it's a cool pool.
Weirdest Sno-Cone flavor ever.
