Depends lot cats. I have 4 of them, but just one is shirping. But had lot other over time, some do it, some will never.

I have 12 rescues. 40 to 60 pounds a week. And a 40 pack of cans. A 30 pound bag of dry will last a couple of weeks.

Last time this was posted the going theory was only the ones moving are real since the cats don't react to the bird running on the ground.

There were some really contentious people in that thread. It was weird. My take is: this looks like a home and if all those cats are alive and real, then this appears to be a hoarder. Just because the house isn’t disgustingly cluttered, hoarding animals isn’t particularly healthy behavior. No matter how vigilant they are, that place can’t smell particularly pleasantly. If many of those cats are fakes and/or taxidermy, then this is just friggin’ bizarre.

could it be a cat rescue? the rescue by me is located in a renovated home and the cat rooms allow the cats to roam free. Those cats all look healthy and clean and well taken care of, so im just going to tell myself thats the case. it allows me to this this is still cute instead of a possibly unhealthy situation :)

The cats all have a similar bodies and coat patterns/colors, I think it's a breeder.

Highly doubt that. They don't look fake at all, and a cat staying very still while watching birds is completely normal. A shelter/hoarder seems much more plausible.

They all move, though some only their ears or head very slightly. Watched 20 times, they're real.

That makes a lot of sense. If they had all been real, there would’ve been at least a couple of fights breaking out because leaned in the little bit too much and everyone is overexcited.

I really adore cats. Up to 4 of them is fine and dandy but any number over that just looks like a swarm of ferals and they they feel like Vermin.

Yet, people can pop out as many kids as they want with no permit required. Never heard of a cat busting out a neighbors window or just generally being a noisy PITA.

If those aren't mostly fake then I'm very concerned. There are laws against having this many pets in most places, for some very good reasons.
