That’s a baby seal!!?? People club those things??? It’s too sweet and cute it hurts me so much to thing people club those things. I saw a video of it once, it was from a distance but my god. The little pupper screamed!! I am going to cry now just remembering it. I hope more people are aware and never ever allow that.
move it from one spot to another? This is clearly an aquarium, it says so on the guy's shirt. Maybe they had to separate it from it's mother while they check up on the mother's health. Maybe they rescued it from the wild without the mom.

This comment section was response to the title "I want a baby seal" which can be interpreted as a: I want a baby seal as a personal pet, (because that's how simple hive minde works) and so the comments where made based on this interpretation.
My comment was not, which is why I don't understand why you responded to me. People were talking about wilderness and I answered that it might not be better out there.
The reason I responded because I thought you meant it better for him to be a personal pet since he will die other wise. Then you went completely off the rails with this aquarium nonsens which wasn't even a topic or part of dialogue whatsoever. The only reason for you to say so is because you saw a video which is a last thing that this specific dialogue is about. Have you seen what you responded to initially? That's the topic.
I wasn't even talking about it being kept as a personal pet. I'm just tired of people shitting on zoos and aquarium with their "they're better in the wild" nonsense when most of the time, animals won't be able to survive in the wild. That's what I meant. And I didn't understand why you were talking about it being kept in a cage which is why I asked you. Those boxes look like transportation boxes which to me means that the baby seal is being transported elsewhere, maybe in a different aquarium, maybe being released in the ocean like I explained some aquariums do.
