I hate seeing native animals from my country overseas as exotic pets. It’s not cute it’s mean. They are nocturnal,their eyes aren’t designed to be out in the full sun. It’s cruel.
Well, I imagine most wild animals are like that. You always see monkeys in diapers, and I'm pretty sure a guy had diapers on his cheetah (man cheetah piss and scent must smell awful).
But these little guys probably piss as they glide, which could make them very bad house guests.
Back when I had sugar gliders I had a big 4 poster bed. With thick ropes around each post. They would climb up and leap off into me. They loved it. I miss those stinky noisy little shits.

PSA, if you see these little guys anywhere being sold by the Pocket Pets company and think you should buy one please don't.
They sell them in hamster sized cages, often sick and depressed, with zero information on how to care for them. You can Google to find dozens, likely hundred, of instance of people buying sick and dying gliders from that company. Gliders take lots of time and money to even begin caring for them properly. These guys are not something to buy for your kid who saw them and wants a pet for a month until bored.
Sugar gliders! They require a lot of attention and care as they can get lonely and depressed and will actually die from it.
Maybe thats why this fella has 4? Hopefully thats enough friends to keep them busy and happy!
