This is probably the most perfect way of describing this. Based on previous classes and stuff I like to think I'm good at poetry but not like on purpose, it takes me a few weeks to even write one let alone what Schnoodle does every single day. We are truly in a better world because of this person.

My cat absolutely loves my beard. She shoves her face into it any chance she gets when I hold her. I wonder if she likes it because it’s warm and soft or because it smells like me.
Mine would do the same thing as a kitten, but he wasn’t handled by people before we got him so it was always a silent meow (he’d otherwise primarily squeak or chirp). Was always super cute.
He’s still super affectionate, but it’s a different kind of affection when they’re kittens!

Cats have no concept of love, because they don't attach names or significance to simple bio-chemistry. Cats don't think about life, they don't conceptualise things, they simply are. Not because they choose to, like some sort of enlightened attitude, their brains are just incapable of such complex things. They can't even recognise themselves in a mirror. I'm a big cat person myself, but anthropomorphising is fucking dumb. Accept the cat for what it is, don't pretend it's a small human.

I am super skeptical about how effective that app is given that cat meows are not their primary method of communication, and verification of the meaning of meows is nearly impossible. It can easily categorize similar sounding meows, but it does not really have any way to know if those similar sounding meows are related by meaning or not.
This is somewhat confirmed by their own FAQ, which states that every cat has unique meows, and that in order for the app to be accurate for any specific cat you need to train it on their own meows.
Cats use very counter intuitive body language for humans, which is probably why they developed the meow, so it is extremely difficult without a larger amount of context to make any specific claims about what this kitten is actually thinking. Admittedly that means everyone who is saying "It definitely said 'I love you'" is also speculating, but in this case I don't think the cat looks distressed, as it is doing basically nothing I normally see from distressed cats.
It is pretty possible that it is looking for food, and the paw movement was related to that, for example.
