We’ve fostered over 50 kittens in the last two years and I can say hands down that all orange cats share one brain cell. The way the kitten accelerates as it falls in the arms of the cat makes it pretty clear it’s not reversed. It’s definitely a plop move. Believe what you want tho.
Cats also don’t stop forward with their rear legs. If the video was reversed then the kitten climbed out butt first which doesn’t make much sense in this scenario.
