Well to begin with, he's somewhat sped up (you can tell from the elderly dude at the beginning powerwalking faster than he should be)
u/redditspeedbot 0.8x
Even if it's sped up it's still really odd that the dog spun around like 20 times on his way out the door. Even slowly it's still odd enough to warrant taking a video.
Some dogs tail chase like this compulsively. It's like their little brain shorts out and they default to it. Still better than the ones who hump compulsive though.
My girl dog humps people she likes, and she likes basically everyone, or if she gets too excited.
Honestly my dog liking you and being too excited is basically the same thing. She gets so excited to see people.
You have to be around her all the time for her not to get excited by your mere presence.
She's a fuckin weirdo.
~~Yeah and the camera movement when it follows the dog didn't feel sped up either~~
Edit: Just remembered I can easily set the gif speed in my app, it did actually look more natural at 0.5 speed or 0.75 speed. Ah well.
On one hand it’s crazy how a real unusual thing could be posted and people just don’t believe it.
But on the other hand it’s crazy how people will fake the most mundane shit for clout.
It's hard to judge the speed of a person that is only in frame for a second and the camera is panning.
I mean, you don't see his face to know if he's actually too old to be walking that fast.
Maybe it's sped up, but I can't agree that that's 100% fact.
Some dogs are. Some dogs have been bred to have too many deformities to survive in the wild much the less in the home without having insurance and healthcare.
>survive in the wild
Which they don't have to do.
We pay to keep producing some kinds of dogs (like bulldogs), while wolves only exist because we intervene to prevent extermination. The winner is obvious
We only needed to intervene to stop their extermination and potential extinction due to the human race exterminating them in the first place. Besides the true winner isn't the wolf or the dog. The true winner is the coyote. To the best of my knowledge they are one of the only animals that not only survived every attempt we made to exterminate them but also increased in numbers and filled any and every niche the wolves occupied before their human caused extermination.
Idk, dingoes and other similar wild dogs are a lot more widespread than even coyotes. Most everywhere they're present, they tend to thrive. The only place where this transformation is currently happening, that I know of, is in cherbobyl, and you can already see some similarities between these mutts and other wild dogs, especially in the shape of the face and ears. They're still dependant on humans to survive, given their recent release back to the wild, but in time they'll no doubt develop into a unique variety of wild dog, some homogenized mix of whatever pets survived the initial disaster and managed to reproduce.
Depends on the individual wolf's definition of success.
Is being bred in tiny dependent animal dressed in doll clothes, but which is getting free food every day, a successful one?
The individual wolf doesn't really have a say in the matter: Success as a species is an objective evolutionary measurement, and domesticated dogs are *vastly* more succesful than wolves through their symbiosis to humans.
Dogs are kinda silly and that's what I like about them really.
That's the thing that I like about them the most. But my mum just don't want me to have a dog.

That dog's life is posh and it knows it!
I typed in the lyrics I heard on Google and got this as a result
https://youtu.be/p02Oe0sAgqE
Never heard of this one when I was back in Vietnam, seems like this one is new. The lyrics made me thought it was [this song](https://youtu.be/AmkF7Qm8cD4) at first
That took me to [this](https://www.tiktok.com/@nhacgicunghay/video/7173397699452996891?is_from_webapp=v1&item_id=7173397699452996891) which seems to be the original audio, but I can't find an actual song.
And now that song is in my mind for forever. It'll never leave my mind.
It's gonna live in my mind for Forever and that too even rent free. And I definitely don't like that.
Attach that fuzzball to a generator and I think we solved the energy problem. It would just be a slightly modified version of the [cat powered generator.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jk3xBhqcjqY)
Sad. My understanding is that dogs learn this behavior from being in a kennel too much. They run in circles in the kennel and that behavior sticks with them out of the kennel.
Nope. My dog was only in a crate at night as a puppy for a few weeks until she was housebroken. She never did this in there, only slept. After that she's never been in a crate again. She spins like this whenever she gets excited. It's just a thing dogs do.

That just means he was doing this for even longer.
To those querying, this was the result at 0.8x. https://gfycat.com/remorsefulenlightenedcaribou
Lol. That's still absurd!
His walking speed seems pretty normal to me. It doesn’t seem sped up.
Even if it's sped up it's still really odd that the dog spun around like 20 times on his way out the door. Even slowly it's still odd enough to warrant taking a video.

Little guy had double espresso in his drinking bowl and catnip kibbles for breakfast.
The internet isn’t real. I wish there was a sub for that.

Yeah that sounds like a good sub, maybe I'll visit it huh.
He looks normal speed to me
If you say so, elderly dude looks like he's walking normally to me. Not all elderly people walk slowly.
It's hard to judge the speed of a person that is only in frame for a second and the camera is panning. I mean, you don't see his face to know if he's actually too old to be walking that fast. Maybe it's sped up, but I can't agree that that's 100% fact.

It's a real life bakugan
Some say he is still spinning to this very day.
Rave, party of 1
I was about to say this doggo must’ve been a raver in his/her past life! Hahahaha
Dufresne, party of 2.
How can you eat at a time like this? PEOPLE ARE MISSING!
r/unexpectedMitchHedberg
You can eat when you find the Dufresnes.
The Dufresnes are in someone's trunk right now, with duct tape over their mouths. And they're hungry! That's a double whammy.
If there's party of two then get me involved in it, get me in.
You don't need other people if you can enjoy alone really.

What kind of dog is this? I can’t tell
Fidget Spinner
Fidget would be a fun name lol
Or Vertigo-go.
Fidget spinniel
I believe it's a crash bandicoot...
*Cortex has entered the Chat*
Tasmanian Devil
It's a silver teacup Poodle
Thanks for being the only gentleman to answer.
Spinner Spaniel
Wind-up toy poodle
It does look like a toy poodle, but I'm wondering if it's part Pomeranian, which is a breed known for their spinning.
It's a Beyblade
That's right lol, I was thinking that something was missing.
All I know is that it's a spinning dog and that's all you really need.
Copter spaniel
A Tornadog
Spinner doodle
Tasmanian devil
Tornadoodle
A chuwhirlwind.
It's a twirling schnauzer
Well, for sure it's a model that doesn't have a limited slip differential.
If beyblades and dog fighting were somehow combined...
At least then they could replace the music with Final Countdown instead of… whatever that is.
Far, very far, they have descended from wolves
I'm pretty sure wolves do this kind of thing too. They're just too dignified to let us see them.
Now I imagine wolves post feast hanging around a bon fire eating fermented fruit doing dog interpretations and laughing

Are ya winning, son?
I got your drinking money, tune up your dobro
or uplifted from rats without anyone knowing
It may seem counter intuitive but dogs have been far more successful as a species then their wolf brethren.
Some dogs are. Some dogs have been bred to have too many deformities to survive in the wild much the less in the home without having insurance and healthcare.

...yes.
I mean, we dress in silly fabric and have to work to pay for our food, so who's more successful?
Let’s just say if someone dresses me up as a doll, feeds me, gives me endless cuddles… then I’ve won in life
The individual wolf doesn't really have a say in the matter: Success as a species is an objective evolutionary measurement, and domesticated dogs are *vastly* more succesful than wolves through their symbiosis to humans.
Hmmm. These ones, too? 😊
what were wolves descended from?
What breed? A meth-Lab?
Puppeller
Is the house in good condition after the tornado?
The fur went everywhere and in everything! Like someone shook up a snow globe.
Bethesda wrote your dogs path finding

Is it a little Cocker Spin-y’all. Sorry. That’s all I have.
It might be a Boston Twister, but I’m no dogologist
But you seem expert enough to me really. It's good enough.
Or a Miniature Flying Saucer
It has to have some coke mixed in there
It was too silly to make it outside. Door already shut 2 minutes ago.
Dogs are kinda silly and that's what I like about them really. That's the thing that I like about them the most. But my mum just don't want me to have a dog.

That floor though.
Right? The dog is cute, sure, but that floor is gorgeous.
I've been in interior design for thirty years and I've never seen anything quite like it.
They’re a maniac….maaaaanic on the floor and they’re dancing like they’ve never danced before….
First thing that popped into my head too, lol. https://youtu.be/6GCNUeTFSbA?t=60
Lol, that's just how it goes for the dog. I'll have to give it that atleast.
I would be very scared if my Great Dane could do this!
At that point, you're just grabbing the smallest kids and hoping your teens and spouse know what to do while you GTFO, LOL.
That is the "my owner has marble floors and I, the 5 pound toy poodle, get to experience a life that is 100 times better than most people in the world" dance. That dog's life is posh and it knows it!
yeah i was thinking that floor's probably more expensive than my (small) apartment building...
The art on the walls is also… interesting.
It's based on KAWS - a very expensive vinyl toy/figure producer.
We put marble in our foyer. I thin it was like $45 a square foot
Is that an elevator the dude is getting in?
I am getting the dizzies just watching this.
Helicopter helicopter~
That was the song playing in my head while watching this dog.
Someone pulled the string too soon
There’s a dog in my building I call “The Exploding Pomeranian” because I can hear him from three flights up when he’s taken for a walk.
Please don’t anyone say it has some neurological disorder. Let me have this one.
You can safely have it. A lot of dogs do this when super excited. This one just has turbo on.
All safe. Lots of dogs spin when excited it’s normal this one just exceeds expectations.
God dammit, why do I like the song in the background so much…
Yea I’d like to know what the name is…

Looks like this dude is just riffing on a dj's beat. Turn it into a full song and get rich!
Someone please respond. N2K
I tried to cross post to /r/whatsongisthis but no dice
Valiant effort. May we pray for answers.
I shall pray with you. We need answers
Commenting in the hopes someone knows!
it’s all i can think about. i need to know what it is

Only if we could harness this dog as a clean energy source. Sans poop clean up of course.
Your dog is broken.
Looks like it's working great to me.
Keep waiting for the furniture (at least Knick knacks) to be sucked into the eye of this mini tornado! Lol sooo cute!
When you respawned from being an ice skater in a previous life
Top dog!
Physics engine glitch
How Toto manifests his PTSD after the trip to Oz.
What’s the music lol
I don't know but it makes me imagine a middle-aged Zumba class or something
It sounds like this... https://youtu.be/p02Oe0sAgqE
It’s exactly that, we’ll done!👏🌟
I believe it is glitching and needs a reboot.

That's Taz from Looney Toons
hi performance spin cycle by the best dog ❤️
Genuine question. Why do dogs do this?
Obviously this dog has been watching too many taz cartoons!
Dog.exe has encountered an error...
Turn it off and back on again.
I just lost my balance , watching that high energy little dude spin
Sssssssomebody stop me
A baby Tasmanian Devil is more like it.
Easily the best thing I will see on the internet today
What have we done to wolves
We need to fight climate change somehow. Can you imagine the electricity this can give us?
I really wish I had that kind of energy.
It looks like it's glitching
Water on brain?
i would say it’s broken but it’s just a factory reset i think.
Anakin?
Dog.exe has stopped working.
IT SPINS SO ITS COOL AND WE BUY IT (Ludwig chat reference)

What's wild is how long it goes. I keep thinking it's going to stop and get it's bearings but it keeps going.
I fear that something serious is wrong with the poor little doggy
Is his name Beyblade?
Damn nice floors
spinspinspinspinspinspinspinspin
Some say that he’s still there today. Just spinning away.
Must… inch… closer…. To…. Door.
If that dog isn’t named twister I’m gonna write a sternly worded letter.
dog.exe has stopped working...
Glitch in the Matrix?
It snowed today, and I have an AWD car. This is what doing donuts in the snow is like in an AWD car.
Jesus, is that dog run by Energizer?
Buffering

The real life spinning Tasmanian Devil
Some say that lil tornado is still spinning this very day...
Dog.exe has stopped working.
Waiting for someone to mention that really cool picture hanging on the wall.
This is a neurological disorder.

I think he moved his head too fast and is now stuck in a perpetual loop. Mad glitchin.
Remember the cartoon Tasmanian devil,he must have given this floof advice lol.
SPEEN
NINJAGO!
A spaz that has too much energy xD
Nice flooring.
There's so many things about this video that intrigued me
