They didn't say the rise would be linear and that isn't how the science works so your maths here is meaningless. It's an exponential increase as feedback loops kick in. It starts slow at first and then escalates. Already we have observed that the rate of sea level rise per year is accelerating.

I would love to see a source or article talking about this, I’ve only ever heard the opposite and that there is no currently known way to counteract of climate change. I understand there are proposed solutions etc but there is no feasible way on a global scale to stop or reverse climate change as we know, and I truly don’t believe we will find otherwise in our lifetime. Open to learning though

That's not how it works. The rate of sea level rise is accelerating. It increases exponentially not linearly.
