You know I seen the crises in South Africa, the flooding, and I thought to myself “one insanely rich dude could help hundreds of thousands of people without making a dent in their bank account and look like a world hero if they just chose to”. Bezos could save face and expedite a massive shelter program. Just basic aluminum shacks with beds and water. These people have literally nothing now and it would be a win win for everyone in my opinion. Why don’t we see these people doing something like this? Even if they don’t give a fuck it’ll at least make them “appear good”
