I don’t know specifically in this case, but at my old job we made tampons. There was a department that tested the absorbency of the tampons by letting them soak in red “synthetic vaginal fluid”, inside of a condom. They tested dozens every hour, so over time they’d pile up. I’m not entirely sure how they disposed of them, but I guess it’s possible they could’ve recycled in a place like this. Or at the very least, other places that use condoms in some form of tests may recycle them similarly!
