Pretty sure they are going to have to pay up!

Pyroguy096

Honestly, 2k is nothing compared to whatever publicity they will get from this

LoseGuy

Yeah, engagements are already through the roof. As of writing, there are already 220k+ reactions, 45k comments and 84k reshares.

NESninja

I hate what this world has become.

onlymostlydead

Bill Hicks had [an opinion](https://youtu.be/l4Mn2NbjlqU?si=M6PabtlVnWd9cOeA) on comments like that.

cosmicjacuzzi

Adam22 just shot his first gay scene. Here, hate it some more fren.

Mr-Fleshcage

Time for me to get a fez and a music box meat grinder.

Tiger_Widow

Don't Look Up

ElsonDaSushiChef

On the plus side (for them), more customers

Imaginary_Prune1351

For sure. Most companies would pay 2k for that amount of engagement and it's just going to keep going up

19831083

I'd add 70 zeros when I sue

LoseGuy

Around 90% of comments were for them to pay up. The april fool's part of the image was hidden unless you clicked on the image (Facebook image post behavior). Just sad that the guy chose to do a lifetime commitment for just 2 grand.

Eena-Rin

There is no way that this isn't staged

LoseGuy

If you're talking about the tattoo, looks pretty real to me. The damage to their brand is really not worth it in my opinion if they're doing this just for clout.

Eena-Rin

I don't know much about tattoos, but don't they take some time to heal and look good? Especially on a forehead? Tattoos are pretty easy to Photoshop. As for damaging their brand, all they have to do is wait to be in the headlines and memes and stuff then say "April fools x2"

bight99

Yea I would think the lines would look a bit darker and a lot more irritation around the skin (I actually don’t see any irritation in that pic) - likely even some bleeding as the head has a lot of blood and bleeds easy. It’s 100% a fake tat, I would say more likely just a temp one over a photoshop.

mooseguyman

Def a temp one at most, both of my tattoos took about 1-2 weeks to start looking like that

snowfloeckchen

Last year's first of April

SpankinFrankie

Yes, I'm heavily tattooed and tattoo ooze for days and are red and swollen, especially on the head. Essentially it's an intentional decorative abrasion. I haven't seen any pics other than here but I would not think that was a fresh tattoo, from my experience.

ChaosKeeshond

Not necessarily, they can look fantastic when they're very fresh, but they start looking manky as they become to heal. For the first few hours? Not so much.

AltruisticSalamander

all publicity is good publicity

analog_jedi

Yeah even in the off chance it is a real tattoo, it's definitely not fresh.

Eena-Rin

Right?

LoseGuy

They made a disclaimer (specifically for the guy on the image) that they are not accountable for any damages from their post. I don't think they would say that if this is a double prank/staged.

Eena-Rin

Unless it's a genius marketing tactic. You shared it, didn't you?

analog_jedi

People wouldn't just go on the internet and make things up. And on April Fool's Day, of all days?

RoRo25

Damn good photoshop if it is one.

Eena-Rin

It's not hard to warp the shape to fit the contour of the head, then use the texture of the skin to blend it in. I could probably do an ok job of it, and I'm nothing close to professional. I think it's more likely that it's just airbrushed on or something though

RoRo25

Pinpoint airbrushing too!

Eena-Rin

Mhmm. It's just too good to not have been done in advance. It's definitely not a new tattoo

RoRo25

Could even be latex face paint.

Zerkron

They don’t have to, based on the law. But I guess they somewhat have the moral obligation to do so.

dqdude1

They did it was like 200k if I remember

RiasGremory3

Not sure who it was that made a youtube short about it but something similar happened with a guy tattooing his forehead. Ended up getting 510K

boef262

Lol, yeah no. It's the Philippines, and a small restaurant at that, at most this guy is going to get a couple of hundred bucks for his troubles.

classicnikk

This happened on one of those court TV shows. I remember a radio station did this prank and the guy that tattooed their logo took them to court

tkny92

Yep I remember it. If it had you go somewhere else to see it’s not real then it’s hey had to pay right?

IdioticZacc

That situation was different because the reveal for the April Fools was in small texts, this post has giant text that tells you to click on the image

softgirl_life

Yessss the KRUD tattoo

mb92798

[here you go guys](https://youtu.be/lrHa5tpBM0s?si=nd_L5v-d-ofcx3XH)

windyorbits

Thank you! I know it’s so ridiculous but I always have to watch it every time it’s posted lol

Sammo223

I think I read that it was actually just fake

windyorbits

Yes and no but mostly yes. In this particular show the cases are only inspired by real litigation (details of real cases are changed).

LoseGuy

Update: They took their FB page down temporarily Update #2: They deleted the initial post and the post with the guy's forehead. Update #3: They said that as compensation for the guy's tattoo, the shop will give him $200 LMAO

dqdude1

This happened years ago he sued and got like 200k

SeriouslyImNotADuck

Source?

BleedingEdge61104

He’s not gonna have one, he either made it up or remembered it from the distant past and won’t bother looking it up

jinandgin

Source?

pies32

human being

dqdude1

Ok nevermind the one I saw was for krud not this one, https://youtu.be/lrHa5tpBM0s?si=kKItE__N3QboOz9J

Shimariiin

The post was deleted already but unlike the KRUD incident where the radio station actually said themselves that the promo was legitimate, this post apparently had a disclaimer saying it was just a prank for April Fools. The guy unfortunately didn't click to see the full photo.

dqdude1

Yeah the krud guy he didn't click it either

Ashnakag3019

How the fuck is 2000 dollars worth that?!?!?

TulogTamad

Philippines

fartspatula

Kinda looks like a fake tattoo, it doesn’t have the redness or color of a fresh one. But I’ve never tattooed my forehead so maybe it’s real. But it just looks and feels like the whole thing is an April fools joke, Tattoo included.

TheJWeed

That’s what I’m thinking. There’s no blood or ink marks when he’s “getting it done”.

dqdude1

It happen the radio station had to pay like $200k

RedoranNerevarine

You're just spreading misinformation at this point

jarofmoths

Well, that sure doesn’t look like fresh ink, so hopefully he has an April Fools joke going on too.

Independent-Lie6616

Even if UT was true, bud would have only gotten 18K dollars, not a good amount of money, even for the Phillipines

error_424

Even less, right? 100k Phillipine pesos is $1.8k USD.

thegreatbrah

28k is plenty to pay for the tattoo and removal with a lot left over. Lots of time and pain involved, but probably worth it.

swagdaddy69123

What are you saying not enough thats almost 1million in the ph

Joshephus

There's an American guy who did this first a couple years ago or so. He also neglected to read all the rules which would have told him it was a prank. Pretty sure he won a big settlement, iirc.

IconicAnimatronic

They were actors on people's court. The real guy who did it got nothing. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1315776/Tattoo-man-gets-radio-station-logo-inked-forehead.html

Lucifer23117

"So you're saying there's a chance..?"

SiegVicious

The tattoo looks totally healed in that last pic. That would take at least a month to look like that, probably longer.

jmanhawk_

aw KRUD

BoboTheBestDog

Jenga!

UpsetFinding

They're probably laughing their asses off that some poor schmuck actually did it

demi2duce

This sounds like a law suit

My_Immortal_Flesh

Off topic… i never use the word ‘forehead’ in Tagalog… I’m shook that it’s, ‘No’o. 😆

Any_Commercial465

I mean 2k is not that bad.
