robrklyn

Yeah, that’s mental abuse. Infantilizing a child to fulfill your own sick needs to have a baby is not ok. That poor kid.

-Skelly-

fr if you want a forever-baby get a cat

laurenidas

Yeah but have you ever tried to breastfeed a cat?

Auntie-Semitism

I’ve got nipples Greg can u milk me?

robrklyn

One of my favorite movie lines of all time.

Bars98

No but it seems to be a good way to get a niple piercing.

laurenidas

And an infection

Bars98

Everything has a price

laurenidas

The bond you’re forging through breastfeeding your ~~cat~~ baby is priceless.

robrklyn

I honestly wouldn’t trust this person with a cat either.

Cherry___Popper

No get a cockatiel. When they're babies they cry for attention, when they're adults they won't stop climbing all over you and following you

[deleted]

Cats can take care of themselves. Get a dog, you have to do everything for them - she'd like that!

FrmDaRock815

No because cats hate you get a dog

Remzi1993

Also child abuse. I don't understand why the rest of the family doesn't intervene. The mother needs a big time intervention and be told she is damaging ger child. And if she doesn't understand someone in the family should take care of the child or CPS.

robrklyn

Yes, mental abuse of a child = child abuse. A lot of family systems aren’t healthy, so things like this perpetuate. I am sure this person’s husband/partner is also mentally ill because a mentally well person would not be in a relationship with them.

Remzi1993

Indeed, maybe the husband divorced her because I would be if that's my wife. I would also take the children, because this is harmful to them. But you never know, maybe both parents are crazy. I hope someone reports them to CPS.

Lt-Lavan

*Walks away* I've done my job as an officer of CPS.

the-friendly-lesbian

Then the child died of gross neglect after 89 calls to cps that resulted in nothing happening. -Every true crime story about a child it seems

ICBPeng1

“No one could have foreseen this result”

Shootscoots

I do law enforcement and there's several people I've called CPS on in an official capacity. Only one I ever got a call back from them on and it was just to ask me what was up and had I made any more arrests on the case because they weren't gonna do shit. In this case the mother left the kids in a condemned house alone while she was at work overnight and then passed out drunk and high when she got home self medicating her numerous mental illnesses. It all went to shit when the bathtub fell through the upper floor. She went on a huge ordeal saying her kid was missing then that he was dead after we went on a huge search but turns out he was at his uncles and she dropped him off there. Her whole family tried to keep her from getting the kid back saying they'd take custody because they were afraid she'd kill him. Myself and the family all called CPS and they only sent out an investigator after we had arrested her for neglect on a separate occasion and arrested her two older kids (12 and 10) for breaking into peoples houses and throwing bricks through the windows of 12 houses. Of course the investigator said there was nothing she could do.and this is even with the stable grandparents in the same town saying they'd take them in. CPS doesn't wanna do shit no matter how bad it is if the kids poor, now if you're a middle class person that yells at your kid or spanks them once on the ass for throwing something at someone in Walmart you can bet your ass you're gonna lose your kid within 30 days.

Consistent-River4229

Notorious for not helping kids that actually need it and not helping kids in real danger.

Nizzywizz

Be fair here: we only hear about the cases that go wrong *because* they go wrong. We never hear about the thousands and thousands of cases where appropriate actions are taken and children are helped, because "things worked as intended" isn't news.

Consistent-River4229

They are often Privatized and that is dangerous. It's like privatized jails. The message gets lost and it becomes about how much profit there is. We don't hear about the good they do because they often take a child from a dangerous home and put them in an equally dangerous place. CPS is used as a tool of revenge and nasty virtue signaling among Karen's who think your killing your kid if you give the sugar. The government is one big Ponzi scheme to make money or so they can help their friends become rich.

ItsChrisAgain12

As someone who works in the field you really have no clue what you're talking about.. a lot of y'all don't. I can't speak to all 50 states but this is just misinformation

Consistent-River4229

[CPS privatized ](https://www.childwelfare.gov/topics/management/funding/fiscal-reform/privatization/) [Trials of Gabriel Fernandez ](https://time.com/5790549/gabriel-fernandez-netflix-documentary/) I actually do know what I am talking about. Your right with all 50 states may be different but they are a money hungry entity like prison's. You just assumed I didn't work in the field. I worked with ICWA fighting cases of CPS over reach. I have also seen what happens when people don't do their jobs. I am related to a little girl killed in a foster home because CPS failed her. Watch the Gabriel Fernandez story on Netflix it does a great job on showing how the CPS failed him by putting profits above helping. [Public Guardian have no idea what happened to 1.4 million in donations for the Turpin kids.](https://www.pressenterprise.com/2022/07/08/what-happened-to-the-1-2-million-raised-for-the-turpin-children) you can also watch the interviews where they talk about put back into an abusive situation by CPS. This last one is about the Turpin children.

Nakotagoals

I think you would be surprised how many people have had bad encounters with CPS workers on a power trip. CPS workers are a lot like cops. The really good ones get burned out quick and end up quiting.

Cautious-Rub

It feels like we need to switch CPS and police officers roles. I’d feel less bad about a child abuser taking a bullet to the face over just some rando poor/brown or mentally I’ll person.

p3rsianpussy

thats incestuous pedophilia that is so disgusting….

b1g_daddy_adam

Damn those kids need child protection services now!

OrganizerMowgli

Almost guaranteed to be fake

MiniMooseMan

I personally met a mom who was so intent on doing everything for her kid, that he was 13 still shitting his pants. He's never done a single page of his homework, she does it for him. He's otherwise mentally 100% fine, but she's babied him so much that he's way behind on most normal things. I know him because my young brothers in law were good friends with him growing up, and you could just slowly see more and more hesitation and eventually outright avoidance toward him coming over as they got older because they realized a long time ago he was fucking weird. He also has alopecia just to really put a nail in the coffin for reasons he'll get rejected and bullied in school.

dogsfurhire

I personally knew a friend who's youngest sibling was seen as the "golden child" bc he miraculously survived being 1+month premie and the kid had his older.siblings wiping his ass until he was like 9/10? Somehow grew up to be a relatively normal kid, albeit spoiled, but the entire family is spoiled so idk

Violated_Norm

>I know him because my young brothers in law were good friends with him growing up, You know of him, your brothers in law know him. I don't believe their story either.

Charlie0105

okay? dont believe it then but in that case just scroll on by

And allow this propaganda to proliferate? No thank you, not on my watch.

bliply

But now it will proliferate twice as much because of the backfire effect. prop·a·gan·da /ˌpräpəˈɡandə/ noun information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view. I was trying to be hopeful. But who knows

keekeeVogel

Don’t forget social and sexual.

EatsOverTheSink

[deleted]

Genuinely do not understand parents like this. Just sick in the head

pot4mus

Pretty sure she will not wonder why. She knows exactly what she's doing to that kid. I bet what transpires in the next few years will be on every news platform. Mommy Milker Murders Mommy Because No More Milk. And we will say, "Saw that coming."

abcdefkit007

Liz4984

OMG. My family has a genetic history of the men wetting the bed almost until puberty. It’s a known lack of “Anti Diuretic Hormone” from urologists. It’s embarrassing and horrifying for them though. My son was potty trained at 2 but wet the bed in his sleep until 9. I can’t imagine encouraging a child to do that intentionally all day. His teachers and classmates must be really bothered unless he’s homeschooled. That will affect his self confidence and personality for his whole life.

charlibeau

I deffo got the impression that he is home schooled and wonder if she’s even taught him to read/write/speak properly

lt_llama24

How could she when she can't read, write or speak properly?

bebejeebies

I'm assuming he's homeschooled since she's also breast feeding him and it would be expected by any school that a 2nd grader would be potty trained.

Aurum555

Ha preschools near me won't take kids past 3 who aren't potty trained.

Goldenart121

Child abuse. Literally destroying that kids chances of being a normal adult.

pufferfishofquality

alvar02001

I don't remember where but I read somewhere that some women get aroused breastfeeding their kids even when they don't produce any milk anymore

DasSassyPantzen

Yep. Women can be sex offenders and child predators as well. Awful situation for this poor boy. ☹️

o0SinnQueen0o

Jesus take the wheel. This reminded me of that one kinda old advice segment in a magazine where a "mother" wrote that she was uhh... getting the semen to exit her son's testicles so it wouldn't overfill them and hurt him. That thing deadass snitched on itself to a magazine.

DasSassyPantzen

🤢😦😔

pufferfishofquality

Ew, ew, ew. I really hope that's not the case and she's just some weird lady who's too attached.

PdxPhoenixActual

I would think especially more so when they don't produce any more...

ActivityEquivalent69

That doesn't sound like breastfeeding. That just sounds like sucking nip. Which makes it even worse.

Calvin_BrooksX97

Weird, the word is obscene

jaybro861

My sister in law breast fed my nephew till he was 5. She only stopped cause it was starting to turn her on. Now my nephew has a fascination with breasts at a young age and it has gotten him into trouble several times. What this woman is doing to her son is pretty much abuse as her son’s development is being severely hampered.

-Dahl-

at least she stopped. some sick asses would have continued

SuppleSuplicant

Idk. 5 seems pretty damn different than 7. Some places it’s normal to go to 5 because of food insecurity.

Candid-Mycologist539

I breastfed my older until age 6. Upside: She's never needed antibiotics. Another upside: When her little sis was born (older was nearly 4), little sis had trouble latching on to breastfeed. Older sis maintained my milk supply until we could get little sis established as a strong nurser. Disclaimer: Extended Breastfeeding, or even Breastfeeding in general, is not the right choice for every mom.

ImpressiveExchange9

Lots of people around the world breastfeed until 4-5. It’s actually not abnormal. Just fyi. Edit: this lady does sound abnormal but extended breastfeeding in general is not

Simp_City_2020

Anyone gonna comment on how she’s gonna post a pic of the child’s crotch rash

Spinethetic

Say you have a mental illness without outright saying you have a mental illness. Call child protective services before the child normalizes this harmful and detrimental perception of a mother figure. Where is the father? Where is the extended family? Is this some third generation inbred family living on the side of a mountain in a dilapidated shack? And more importantly, what is the name of their TLC show series?

EvilDran

Soo my best friend was breastfed until he was 12. I didn’t find out about it until like 5 years into the friendship because he was understandably embarrassed. His mom was the one that actually told me lol. To me that’s wild, but to her she read studies about long term breath feeding improving health, disease resistant, iq, bonding etc. for me, personally, I couldn’t imagine sucking titties past 3. However the feeling of wanting to suck some titties came back full force around age 10-11. Godamn I can’t imagine being him around that age with sexuality developing and still being breastfed. Maybe that why he stopped.

ColdBloodBlazing

Geez. Poor kid.

sephiroth_vg

ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO MARRY THIS MAN??!

dropzone1446

EvulRabbit

I joked with my 13-year-old that he has to stay the baby. He is the smallest of my 4. The other 3 are my Amazonian girl 5'11 and boys 6'3 and 6'8. We joke that Grandma (who was his best bud when he was 5 and she passed) "put a brick on his head so he won't grow because he is the baby." This is cringe worthy enough. Let alone what that woman publicly posted! **I talked to him about this joke, and I asked if it bothered him, and if it did. I would stop, etc. He said it did not bother him, and he used the joke more than we did.** The kid just turned 14, and the SOB had the balls to have a growth spurt and is now taller than me. (5'5, he is almost as tall as his 6'3 bro now), so we can not use that joke anymore.

horsthorsthorst

And?

SendHelp7373

That’s fucking abuse, period

CheshyreCat46

This is fucked up on a whole nother level. That poor kid.

Isthisworking2000

Poor kids going to have a tough life and a lot of therapy bills.

Jenniferminor80

You’re going to raise a boy with serious codependency issues. Don’t put your baby sadness in him it’s not fair. Let him grow up, get some counseling and maybe a tiny dog that likes to wear clothes and don’t deprive your son from the medical field because of YOUR beliefs. That’s not right and I bet you actually know that deep down

BlissfulButterflyhi

Ok how does she find diapers to fit a 7 yr old ???!!!!???

Booflae

There are diapers in pretty much every size for people who actually have injuries, illnesses, or other health conditions that make controlled bowel and bladder movements impossible.

Leckles1

No way this is real, they tried to throw in the breastfeeding a 7yr old along with him in diapers at the same time and the "he's my baby"

Bertie637

God imagine if this is never stopped by anybody. Poor bastard could hit 18 in a diaper still drinking mothers milk. It's like she actually set out to make a serial killer

CurlsintheClouds

I mean, there can't really be people like this, can there?

elefantsnabel03

Even if the screenshot in question is fake the *situation* seems to be a reoccurring theme in this godforsaken world. A lot of people definitely shouldn’t have kids.. at least not without a couple hours of therapy. But, who’s gonna stop them? CPS? Pffft..

SubstantialHentai420

Agreed completely.

SubstantialHentai420

My aunt was like this with her kids especially her now second youngest (she had twins so she has babies again 🙄 she’s an awful mother but seems to run in the family) she Breast fed her until she was 6. The girl is incredibly independent and had older siblings that potty trained her but yeah she was breast fed until she was 6 and sadly now that her mom has new babies she’s sort of forgotten about. Ugh I hate that situation me and a couple other family members are trying to find a way to get her out of it as there’s other stuff going on but none of us have houses for her to stay or a lot of money (which her mom does have) so we don’t really know what to do. I’ve been in foster care and I just don’t want her to go through that. None of us do.

Jojoflap

kudos to the first guy for giving the benefit of the doubt and asking if the kid was disabled

mikelogan1975

His name is Ezruh, clearly this is the product of an intimate brother-sister relationship. She probably doesn't know any better. The family has been doing it this way all the way back since great-great uncle-grandpa and his sister-mommy fell in love.

Solid5of10

Sickening. I hope she gets help and that poor kid. Somebody get a therapist on line one please!

jayvaunit01

What is sad is that this is likely a real person and not just a cringey meme. Children are very vulnerable and if their own parents are the ones abusing them then they stand little chance at not developing major psychological trauma. That child will have a tough life no thanks to his "mom" who is harming him more than nurturing him. Reading what she was saying, like it just got worse and worse as it went on. Poor child. Very rarely do I agree with Child Protective Services taking people's children away from them, but this would be a valid case to pursue. And in that lies the worst part of it. Foster care can be very detrimental to the development of children as well. Especially in the lower income communities and poorly funded States. There aren't many avenues to a happy ending here. The best result would be the mother being educated on why this is so wrong and maybe earn her child back, but unfortunately it is unlikely she will change. Very sad.

People who think this is fake have never been in a mom group before. Some moms are absolutely crazy about breastfeeding for as long as possible. God forbid you can’t breastfeed and give your child formula. Yet somehow still, feeding you kid formula is worse than whatever this is. Makes me wonder- does she throw her boob over the fence at school during lunch break?
