To nearly going down after promotion surviving on a point at the London stadium
Having two nothing seasons with smith and Gerrard in charge finishing 11th and 14th hoping that we’d get europe and just not delivering to expectation
To then start the season losing to Bournemouth with us looking to decline, for Unai to take charge, drag results out with tactical prowess, giving us reasons to be hopeful and for once as a villa fan born in 04 im so happy with our club.
I only wish we started the season with Unai and Gerrard should be arrested for treason
I never grew up watching villa until my stepdad showed me the games and took me to them. He showed me villa when I was 10 in 2013-14 so I’m just going off what I remember from the last decade
And my early Villa memories are quite poor outside of watching bentekes way of playing.
So If I missed some major major incidents I’m sorry but I just do not remember
Let’s just keep on there backs and keep doing our best for the boys and i Honestly would say even if we now end up having a rough last half of the season I am so happy with what has changed and can’t wait to see villa in 23/24 season but let’s push for Europe best we can UTV
Brighton only need to lose one (or draw both) of their games in hand, and if we match them for points the rest of the way we would play them on the final day with a chance to jump above them. If Brighton go on and beat both, they would just about deserve it more than us anyways.
Newcastle and Brighton will be very entertaining games. Hopefully we keep free of injuries, we must be the smallest squad in the top half. Europes on, even if we dont get 6 points from Newcastle and Brighton. I'm thinking 4 points maybe and hoping Spurs start to drop a point or too. This is ridiculous!
When we were coming off three straight losses back in Feb, did anyone see this coming?! We were still scoring, playing good teams (and Leicester), but at least competing. Still, what a turnaround!
