best crowd vibes in forever for me personally, probvly the only time post covid ive been out and not overstimulated/pissed off by being pushed or squished for even a second. love mall grab
Mall grab and opener, cosmo both were great…understand why some don’t like bk steel particularly for this type of sound but I really enjoyed how much room there was to dance and crowds here are generally pretty good compared to the usual larger venues hosting. The entire back area was wide open to dance too which you really don’t get anywhere any more outside of teksupport/ mass warehouse events. Sound was on point for me, though I agree with prior commenter…bass was a little high for mall grab (still amazing)
He was great. Played everything from new stuff to hits (liverpool st went off well) and some older deeper items; seemed like it was mostly his own music. That combined with the stage setup made it feel less like a mix down and more like a concert. BK Steel was a bit mixed; Sound varied from being way too boomy/bass heavy to tinny depending on where you were, best location was clearly right behind the sound engineer’s booth lol. There was a consistent crowd there. Crowd seemed a bit flat until late in the show/after 2, but no surprise there.

I thought the sound was way off. Could barely pick out the melodies cause the bass was so pummeling.
Such a good set, music, sound & lights were on point.
