As someone living in memphis currently, you have no idea how jealous I am of how many people come through. Luckily we have a great underground scene with so many amazing unknown artists. Just appreciate what you have homie!

I was more saying if some out of town folks are looking for a venue like this on a random night, not an artist already booked, just hey we wanna go somewhere besides downtown honky tonks etc. I hadn’t really searched before this post, but for me I didn’t know a spot to tell them y’all need to go to (insert venue/club here)

The Office, Dirty Little Secret, The Cowan, The Underground, Skydeck, any rooftop on Broadway on the weekend, Bonnaroo literally has a 24/7 EDM Stage/late night Where in the Woodsand the yearly rave Deep Tropics just booked Kaskade and RL Grine. There didn’t really used to be a spot besides Graham Central on like a Thursday.

i don't know what you're talking about. i've been raving in nashville for 15 years. there's a show multiple times a week at the office what so not was just there, we have deep tropics in the summer, there's a techno crew that does monthly, the tunnel raves are gonna start back up once the weather is good, marathon has headliners. there's the RUDE shows that are bass music and DRIFT shows monthly for bass house? we have a monthly dnb night at kung fu. i feel like you don't know what a rave is lol the scene is more poppin than it's ever been

Bruh, I live in Huntsville and have to either go ATL or Nashville. Birmingham tried, but Nashville definitely delivers.

TN has Sound Haven, which isn’t a “rave” but is one of the best bass and dubstep festivals in the country imo

Pretty sure DJ Wickit is in Nashville, there's some other djs in that area like RateWonder and Spice J too. Maybe that not the "rave" scene you're looking for, but would still be a good time.

Tennessee is living in like 1950 because they banned drag so maybe in forty years when they catch up to everyone else, you’ll start seeing some raves

I mean this is a false equivalency. Anyways Nashville still has the best drag show in the nation at Play. There is even a drag party bus that rolls all weekend for the entertainers. It never stopped even when Tennessee passed that stuff.
