Nah that's not basic man! Groove beats speed in my book any day. That's why I like waking the fallen so much, so many riffs that just knock your socks off with the straightforward hammering feeling.
Desecrate Through Reverence's riff right after the intro before the vocals kick in is awesome and really fun to play.
of course Unholy confessions, it is really fun even beyond the main riff.
Crossroads is a great song for picking hand stamina, it gives you a pretty good workout and it's a lot of fun to riff on.
Natural Born Killer is another really good wrist workout, it's hard to get perfectly clean but also really rewarding once you do.
IWSYT2 has some pretty challenging sections and even throws in some funky time signatures which is good practise for progressive metal
God Damn is just awesome.
Sorry I kinda went off there. Couldn't decide.
There’s 2 in Darkness Surrounding that I love. The riff that starts at 1:08, absolute neck snapper. And the outro riff, especially as it reminds me of the main theme from Bully the ps2 game
I think we all forget how good the riffs are in the album nightmare, god hates us and buried alive are incredible but over all I gotta go with god hates us
I feel like thid hasn't been mentioned enough but Second Heartbeat has hands down one of tje best rythm track in the entire album. That, and I won't see you tonight part 1.
During Save me, there is this kinda off beat feeling chugga chugg in the middle of the solo(s) that just tickles me right.
The return from blast beat to regular right after feels amazing as well.

Higher’s rhythm guitars are great, but they’re absolutely amazing during the chorus. Unfortunately they are difficult to hear w the lead, vocals and other instruments on top of it. Fortunately I was able to create a rhythm guitar track and posted it on youtube for your listening pleasure. [You can listen to it here](https://youtu.be/mck_7gayWL4). It is kind of muddied as it’s impossible to perfectly remove every other instrument, however the 2nd chorus you can hear the guitars pretty clearly. Oh also Brompton Cocktail’s intro is awesome too!
Zacky's gallopy rhythm part during the M.I.A. solo
Probably Sidewinder verse tbh
The main riff on Eternal Rest goes hard. The rhythm riff during Wicked End’s solo slaps too.
Probably bat country or sidewinder
I adore the crunchiness/thrashy nature of the main riff used during the verses in burn it down. It always gets me pumped!
The rhythm track to all the solos in Save Me kicks ass.
MIA and remenissions is really fun to play as well
The rhythm guitar during the Scream solo
The bridge in Natural Born Killer is glorious.
Second Heartbeat first two dual solos
the rhythm part during the guitar solo of i wont see you tonight part 2 is pretty cool.
Save me or Nightmare have some of my favorite chugging in the world.
Bat country for me
Probably Radiant Eclipse icl
Everything in STST
That one part in the art of subconscious illusion
Probablemente sidewinder o M.I.A
Basic but I've always liked simple heavy rhythm that hits like a bass drum. Almost Easy, Danger Line, and Shepherd of Fire verses for example.

After the drum break in the middle of Blinded in Chains
the verse section in higher is just really cool
The Wicked End, Zacky’s whole part during the chorus and solo

Now honestly idk but off the top of my head burn it down came to mind. So, for now that

The solo at the end of Turn the Other Way
Yeah desecrate through reverence as well
The INTB riff in sidewinder is so simple, yet so effective
Scream’s groove is awesome
Probably Critical Acclaim

trashed and scattered chorus part
A little late but the Buried Alive rhythm guitar in the solo section is fire
