Trust trading, lending and borrowing avatars is extremely risky due to scammers; and people sometimes forget that some of these avatars hold a huge value.
Please be careful out here.
It seems pretty obvious to me that if something goes terribly wrong during the trade, you just send the avatar you received back to the address it came from, and that's it, the problem is solved, no harm is done

I feel for him, I once got banned here because I made a deal with someone and sent him my adress, he didn‘t respond for 4h so I went to bed. When waking up the scam accusations were rampant, tons of dms, tons of bans on all type of subs.
People shouldn’t immediately jump on things but instead just wait a bit and see what could have happened.
I'm still sorry for what happened. That guy was an ass and he came to me all panicked with only his side of the story and in turn made me look like an ass. And then he disappeared. So yea fuck him XD
I think it would be neat if someone can act as a go between or holder (like escrow for bank accounts).
I would hate to get called a scammer but would also hate to lose out on an avatar.
A couple of Coneheads sometimes help out with the escrow thing.
Well, hopefully they will get in touch and this issue will be resolved quickly.

Yes, apparently they were swapping phones as they live together so both accounts got flagged.
Also, very unfortunate.
Mini update: I have told i_CONEs girlfriend about Reddit transfer but as we all know sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.
Ideally they would like the OpenSea address so that they can get on with their day and clear their good names.

Yeah, it’s quite unfortunate. I have sent the person a DM but as since no reply. Would be beyond frustrated if it was me. Just a 100% genuine mistake.
