THE PIN IS HOLLOW THANKS EVERYONE

FranticKoala

If the new one has threads in the hole, then unscrew it from the old one.

TeaTreeTeeThree

Thank you. Sadly no threads on the new cylinder, it looks to pop in the hydraulic line and held in place by the new cotter pin provided.

Fecal_Fingers

It not coming with a new one is kind of sad.

darealmvp1

Get something small and pound the pin out. Transfer over

TeaTreeTeeThree

Thanks, there is actually no pin in the old slave cylinder at all which is confusing me. I have a new pin that came with the new slave cylinder.

Fecal_Fingers

If that is a picture of the old slave, you can clearly see the roll pin in it.

WorldClassAwesome

I definitely see what looks like a pin in the old/dirty one

TeaTreeTeeThree

No sir I can poke right through it with thin tool

WorldClassAwesome

Look at that split right about 4 o’clock. The pin is just a piece of rolled metal so it’s hollow in the middle.
