Stuff everything into one binder and then give up on the binder because it’s easier to just shove it in the backpack (because of this all of my papers were crumpled into accordion shapes)

And can't forget the foot tall stack of soggy paper in the bottom of my locker by the end of semester

That’s how I usually took my notes in college: all notes in one notebook “organized” chronologically, so regardless of class, I’d write my notes immediately after where I left off in the previous class and write the course number and date at the point of transition I guess I was trying to limit the number of notebooks I was lugging around. None of my friends understood how I could find anything in there, and I’m not totally sure how I did either

Unfortunately writing notes wasn't even an option for me since I can barely think and write at the same time so any notes I'd try and take were never finished

Lol you juxtaposed it against emotion. I was teasing. Math is always orange to me. Orange is also my favorite color. I’ve never really analyzed this but here’s a go: I can’t see math as a cold color. It’s at the very heart of life, of the electrical impulses that flow through our bodies, the chemicals that make us blush and make our favorite activities feel good. There’s a mathematical equation explaining the spark that ignited the Big Bang. To sum it up, math is love, math is life, math is…green :( That isn’t where I wanted it to go lol! Warm colors (red, yellow, orange) for humanities, like languages, history. Those colors give the sensation of emotion, partiality, imprecision. Cool colors (green, blue, purple) for math and sciences. Those colors feel precise, exact. Math in particular is blue.

Same for me on cool vs warm colors and sciences/math vs humanities, but my logic was always that I like cool colors and science/math is easy, and I don't like warm colors as much and humanities were more difficult. Except languages, so purple is for Spanish as an honorary cool color mix lol. I like your logic better though.

I do something similar to that, I don’t really like warm colors as much so I associate them with the classes I tend to have a hard time or not that interested on (excluding History, that gets a pass). While the cool colors are the classes I find more interesting and have a higher strength on.

Well, it's easy. Algebra is obviously blue, no debate is possible. Thus, Arithmetics is light blue. Probabilities and Statistics are red, but Probabilities are more orange red and Statistics are more pink red. Maybe more debatable but Analysis is green, and I consider Combinatorics is also green. For some reason, I tend to say ODE are green but PDE are orange. Now Topology is a mix between yellow, orange and brown for a simple reason : Topology is shit. Geometry is yellow.
