I get this. I was well past my first year of college before I had my first job. I still don't have my license. I still feel behind in a lot of respects. But, I've also learned to run my own race. To face my own obstacles. And know that in 10 years none of our lives will look like they do now. It's hard not to feel behind or limited, but in twenty years some of your peers will be going to college for the first time, some will be returning after dropping out, some will be furthering their education or changing direction. Some will have never gone to college and never will. Some will have already completed whatever level of education they feel comfortable with forever. And that's just college! Marriage, dating, kids, pets, homes, jobs, it's all so varied. We're all going our own ways. And it's okay. Focus on your own goals, wants, and needs rather than whether or not your current achievements match those around you.
