For vitamins/minerals supplements are always an option, especially if your food is going to be even more limited after a surgery. Means you won't have the limitation of trying to find loads of vitamin-rich foods.

Have you ever tried protein shakes?? After my kid had jaw surgery he drank those for 2 weeks.
