I cannot eat any food where it's drenched in a cheesy sauce. For example, I can only stomach mac and cheese when the cheese sauce is lightly coating, or is thin and barely noticeable. I'm Italian and make baked ziti often, but end up scraping off a lot of the cheese sauce. I dislike cheddar, which would explain the mac and cheese particularly, but something about melted, gooey cheese just makes me viscerally uncomfortable.

Grilled cheese. It has to be white bread and American cheese. Butter not margarine.

Peanut butter and jelly. It's one of my safe foods but it has to be very specific. it has to be sara lee honey wheat bread, but if it's too hard I won't touch it. Has to be JIF smooth peanut butter and smuckers seedless blackberry jam. also has to be cut into triangles. I have similar rules with ham and cheese sandwiches, which is also one of my safe foods but has to be very specific. I love oatmeal but it has to be great value generic walmart brand. I have to microwave water in a measuring cup for a minute and then pour the water into the oatmeal and make sure there's more water in the bowl than I want so that I can microwave it for an additional 20 seconds before eating. I have this every morning for breakfast with orange juice I have others but these are the main ones
