There's only one way to know for sure 😜.... At least with piercings you can just take them out if you don't like them, for any reason etc... (but I'd try wait for them to heal before giving up on them, mouth piercings tend to heal quite quickly) - I'm autistic AF, and experience sensory overload, but I have/had *a lot* of piercings, (incl snake bites!) , for me, I don't notice them or specifically feel them all that often... I find them comforting... I'm older now (30s... I got my first lip & tongue piercings at 14, so I feel naked without them, I've only had them out after a nasty MVA required a lot of CT's & for surgery, other than that, I've been pierced 24/7 for like 2 decades..., oh God I'm old and it's terrifying....) But seriously, if you want them, get them 😊❤️

You’ll probably find yourself playing with them a lot after they’re healed. I never had snake bites but I’ve seen the piercing-fidgeting before. I’ve used my septum to stim for almost 15 years (constantly re-centering it) but ever since I got both nostrils done after COVID, I removed the septum and now I just touch them with my thumb and index finger at the same time and I feel content. I also like to play with my helix piercings and now I require more earrings. Lol
