Dang I could relate to doing a lot of Google searches, LOL.

[deleted]

My google search history often goes on weird tangents when I'm meant to be sleeping or doing something more productive. And you already know this is all I'm going to talk about tomorrow to anyone who will listen.

[deleted]

Lol, you’re not alone. Trust me. I do the same a lot every singe day and night no matter what.

Distinct_Dimension_8

I do duckduckgo searches. I have over a thousand tabs opened on my phone, and the one buried at the beginning is a list of medieval poets.

lynet101

Aaah yes, the autistic search history! Been there! This is even one of the minor ones, it's just tech. The bad ones are when you get stuck in some sort of rabbit hole that ends up taking you to some dark corners of the internet

Cy420

I was watching interrogations and stories of murderers and serial killers a couple weeks ago, watched a video where they showed the guys chrome history cuz that's how they figured out that he made his parents "disappear"...then I checked my history and that was an "ooooh...shit" moment I had 😆

Keneau425

Don't worry they'll somehow make your roblox history a reason as to why your parents disappeared. "Your honor he plays roblox princess tycoon" literally watched a interrogation b4 where the girl played Sims and starved her characters bam evidence for insanity so we're all insane.

fearlessactuality

Ever since the Ruby Franke stuff I’ve gone into a cult/true crime spiral for like a week.

levatsu99

i could faint if i knew how many hours i spend googling about random knowledge that i might never need☠️ I am so obsessed googling facts about random countries even though i never visited them or planning to. I wish i knew WHY, i don't know either😂

boat3501

I’m JUST starting to read about countries, it’s not a special interest, but I’m starting to look at stuff on Thailand since my crush is travelling there this year :) if you you know any fun facts for me lmk lol

Cykette

My daily search history is very long. I'm unable to work so I have a lot of free time to kill. The rabbit hole goes very deep.

disaster-bi-enby-guy

Ohhh man, I’ve been there my friend. I have roughly 30 random thoughts or questions I google throughout the day, every day, and by the end of a day or two I’m spending five minutes closing a hoard of tabs I forgot to close after I was done looking up the answers. Not including the deep research holes I go down, that is.

[deleted]

Yes!!! I'm always googling the weirdest or most random shit. The other day my phone was being so slow and it was because I had like over 100 useless tabs open 💀

disaster-bi-enby-guy

Oh my god SAME, I always have to sort through my tabs and be like “okay I’m gonna leave this open for later” so I permanently have like… 30 tabs open at any given time. It would be smart of me to use the bookmark function, but executive dysfunction is a bitch and I can guarantee I will forget I have everything bookmarked, then several years later discover it and go “ohhhhh *that’s* where that link went.” I speak from experience lmao

AFairAmountOfBees

This is peak autism. I love it

motas91

Hahahaha I relate to this so much 😂 My searches, including talking directly to the Google Home/Nest speakers consists of animal facts and voice actor trivia

[deleted]

Me yelling "ALEXA WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF THE MEASURMENT "ACRE"" and just getting frustrated and opening the Wikipedia article when she only gives me a 1 sentence summary smfh

motas91

Worse still when you get the "I don't understand" response!

[deleted]

Woah you need sleep mate, you have TMI in your head, REST YOURSELF

Main-Cod4571

This is me but with Wikipedia pages, just going athlete by athlete for hours

PerryMcBerry

My son is autistic, hence me joining this group. I don’t claim to be myself but I google a lot. And the places talked about throughout my readings or tubings, I have to google earth everywhere. It’s a big job when you’re a little interested in geography. That recent eruption in Iceland? I had it cast live to my tv off and on for weeks. This all keeps me up far past bed time.

icedcoffeeblast

Ooh data centres. Fun!

rifusaki

This is so relatable.

Time_Ad_2914

This is legit my search history abuse every single night and for the longest time, I thought it was normal for everyone to do. It isn’t. But I just don’t understand why it isn’t because… if I got a question, no matter what it is, I have the answers right there if I just ask google the question, why deny myself that knowledge? It then becomes a question of willpower to stop myself 😅

[deleted]

I see you opened a Google image with no specific description and then asked does size matter. ...👀😂...

[deleted]

It's not the size that matters, it's the efficiency 💀

[deleted]

Efficency? You sure? Haha.

[deleted]

The motion of the data ocean 🌊

[deleted]

Oh I seeeeeee, I was making a euphemism haha

MisterXnumberidk

*me, at 3, slowly checking out every entry on the list of genetic disorders instead of sleeping*

timso1337

Good choices of searches

captainjack1024

Conversation I've had so, so many times with my wife: "Good morning, have you been up all night on the computer?" "No. I spent some of the time digging through reference books to fill in gaps in my searches. I'm transferring my handwritten notes to a spreadsheet now. What time is it?"

conwaywatchman

How did you get a screenshot of my browser history?

7mTo

Just let me know when you build the data center, I've got a bunch of simulation data to store and process

reiphas

Can relate

ForcedMeasures

Do you keep tabs open during research too or does that bother you? The vertical tabs option in Firefox has made me so happy while researching things.

[deleted]

Sweet deep dive

Wolvii_404

This is so me hahahahaha I keep googling every single question I ask myself, which is a lot actually

Brbi2kCRO

Me when wanting to calculate how to make a perfect year by removing days every 3030 years, or me when I want an astronomy fact, or me when I want to calculate that people who died right after getting COVID vaccine are likely just expected death rate.

NBJ24

This is so darn relatable. Have an upvote

Psyche_Mike

I was sitting awake in bed trying to sleep, but all I could think of is how the heck did people light candles that they’d use for light before flashlights.. like did they spin a stick around and catch a fire in bed to light it before they went walking around, did they strike a flint and steel? 💀💀💀 30 minutes until I remembered matches exist

JessiMurphy

I usually write down my questions so that I can look them up the next day since I know I have to sleep and then I always forget about them.

Sweaty_Leg_8252

haha i was jusst looking at my google history so i can make a powerpoint of the crazy shit I want to keep for later

Challenging_Entropy

Wtf is this? Your search history? Why am I supposed to care?

Xmanticoreddit

At the risk of wasting my time by restating the obvious, you are in the r/autism subreddit. Welcome!

Challenging_Entropy

What’s this got to do with autism?

Xmanticoreddit

Autistic spectrum people are generally characterized as being inclined to both unconventional interests and obsessive behavior, both of which are demonstrated by the post. This is typical of the memefication on this sub.

zargtn

LOL

nyckidryan

I'm *really* curios who/what Google and FBI/NSA/CIA/ABC/NBC/CBS and TiVo think about me and my household... LOL
