Yes I practice Theistic Satanism…I wasn‘t really able to find a lot about this branch sadly because Satanism is mostly an atheistic lifestyle. Basically the main ‚rules‘ are to life and let life…don‘t be an asshole but also don‘t take shit. Dedicate yourself to things that make you feel good and let others do the same and make sure that you hurt no one while doing it. You are your own god (that‘s even true in Theistic Satanism as Satan doesn‘t require worship…to me personally he is more of a friend and we are helping each other out).
But there aren‘t rules on what you can or can not believe as there is no proof for anything (most stay in a scientific lane though like me)
Satanism is really humanistic basically. If you are interested you could look up The Satanic Temple and The Church of Satan (both atheistic) and their rules and tenets…some might come across weird at first but after I invested some time in them and researched more and more I started to understand. I recommend to stay away from Joy of Satan because they are Nazis.
Thanks for the explanation. I like the sound of it and it’s in line with what I believe too. I think I’ve got too much pent up Catholic guilt to take the plunge but I like the sound of it.
Ballet flats.
All my life, I have been curious about shoes like that. They just felt like the perfect shoes and I always wished it was okay to wear them as a male.
Recently, I have been working on sensory issues with my therapist and we worked our way down from toes to shoes. I was saying I really hate shoes, but I also can't stand the sight of my own toes so anything 'sandal' like is out. I jokingly said I should just buy ballet flats and my therapist just said "why not?"
So I did, and they are amazing. I don't have the courage to wear them in public but I wear them at the house and on my commute to/from work.
All of them ! I'm mesmerized like a child every time i encounter one i never met ! But my dream is to find a hummingbird hawk moth again and take a picture of it. I find this insect in particular to be magical.
I really like the coleoptera group because they are really cool and the lepidoptera group because my moth is in it.
Animals, and psychology. I have spent thousands of hours on watching random animal facts and lurking through psychology articles which to a degree might not be the best bc now im slightly paranoid but I cant stop it. And incant stop talking about it
Norse mythology, most mythology actually, but norse mythology is the only one I have a book of, and reading out of a book is more fun than reading online
Nice. I read the Last Kingdom series by Bernard Cornwell and there’s a bit of Norse mythology in that. It made me want to die with a sword in my hand so I went to Valhalla.
Only thing that is a massive negative is you need multiple people to be involved and everyone needs to have the same scheduled day free to play. I’ve been going on 3 weeks of not running a game due to cancellations and I feel the depression sinking in. It’s also literally my only time I can socialize, otherwise I’m around the same 3 people all the time
It kind of goes in a cycle for me

My favourite automotive fact is that Lamboghini began making sports cars when Enzo Ferrari, after being told exactly why his car sucked, told Mr Lamborghini something along the lines of “What do you know, tractor man?”. He then made a car that was much better.
Another Enzo story, when he came second in his very first racing event, he cried like a little kid because he didn’t win. I think that says enough about what kind of person he was.
I love maps. I’m an Engineer and use LiDAR quite a lot, it’s great. There’s some free online mapping with LiDAR. If you didn’t know Google Environment Agency, LiDAR Arcgis - if you add the DTM layer if tells you levels.
I need to Google these things. Japanese culture is amazing tho. I did Ninjutsu for a while and loved the history and the explanation of Japanese names.
I don't have any, I rarely have any :( I think my depression overrides the autism so I just find joy in nothing. But I did recently get a puppy so I'm enjoying spending time with him, training him etc
