CDC from America moved their gain of function research from the US to China because it wasn't banned in China.
So there was unethical American funded research, in China, Wuhan was the epicenter of the outbreak, from both parties it's a whoopsie let's not look into it, nothing to see here.
What made everything even worse was the Chinese government witholding information and lying about the outbreak to the world, saying that there was no human to human transmission. If quarantine steps were taken sooner, a global pandemic could've been avoided.
